The room was as per our request which was near the lift as I am disabled. In addition the room was spotless with a walk in shower. Balcony was corner on the side with sea view. The staff were helpful and polite. I try and stay a few days at the Elysium every time I am in Cyprus.

Polis is tasteful. Not too noisy or ruined by tourism. Only negative is that restaurants in the old pedestrianised town seem to think all customers want to watch football on huge screens wuth dinner! The football screens is starting to damage atmosph

Charming typical Greek Cypriot community with a great choice of restaurants and bars around pedestrianised square. Interesting villages to visit locally with the Akamas Peninsular, forests of Tilluria and Troodos Mountains within reach by car.
