Very nice villa near Pollenca with great and clean swimming pool
The house was spacious and clean, perfect for 4 people with two bathrooms and well equipped kitchen and good working wifi. The garden was very nice and with a large area to play for the children. The house has a nice atmosphere, also in the evening. We were here in October and the evenings could be a bit chilly already, the wood oven worked perfectly and gave it extra atmosphere. Checking in and out went smoothly. There was a good detailed map with information of the area. The location was near facilities like supermarket and also Pollenca.
The house was really made empty for new guests, perhaps due to covid-rules and profound cleaning regulations, but we missed some small useful ingredients like salt, pepper, olive-oil for cooking, matches to light the candles or wood oven etc. Now we had to buy all these elements just for 1 one week, we hope new guests can use the left-overs, or the cleaning staff. The beds were really Spartan, very hard and consisted of the lower part of a boxspring bed. Although I prefer a somewhat harder matrass, the beds could really use a softer top matrass which would have made the nights more comfortable.
Besides the house we were shocked by the neighbour house who kept a very emaciated forlorn dog in an abandoned dog house on a chain with only some water. The dog house was right next to the garden fence. But of course this was not something the house owner is responsible for.
