"This home is beautifully decorated and a great highend feel away from home. All of the amenities were great & the home is kept clean. The host was great with communication. My only negative is that the area outside the home has limited dining options other than at small place across the street that closes at 6pm 4 days a week and is more a yummy breakfast or lunch spot (also with kind owners). Also there is no Uber on the island, only Bolt and it's new so it may be hard at times to get drivers...

"How bad was it? Upon arrival the stove top did not function; leaks from the shower pan onto floor due to bad caulking . Furthermore the toilet did not flush; we had to improvise and use a large pot filled with water to flush it. Guest ready was made aware of these issues, stove top at the arrival and the bathroom the day after. We waited 4 days for someone to come and address the issues. The toilet was repaired but neither the leaks in the bathroom, nor the seeping water from the shower...

"The house was well situated and has lots of potential. Our host Claudio was polite, quick to respond, and very helpful. The rooms are a good size, and the house has a good layout. Unfortunately, the beds and pillows were very hard and quite uncomfortable. The outdoor furniture is in need of replacing, the BBQ is rusty and new interior paint would be a good improvement as there is water damage in places and signs of mold in the bathroom and elsewhere. The pictures in the listing are outdated as...

"Property was neat and tidy. There was air conditioning that worked in every room. Lots of available parking very bright and white interior, working TV with plenty of channels in English as well as other languages. Nice outdoor area as a terrace upstairs. Brand new frying pans well equipped kitchen beds were comfortable, quiet, neighborhood, safe neighborhood. We went for early morning walks for a mile and evening walks for 2 miles. Three minute walk to nearby cafe, 7 minute walk to a grocery...

"Nous avons bien aimé cet hôtel. Le déjeuner est vraiment super, avec beaucoup de choix. La terrasse sur le toit est très jolie et les chambres très bien, avec leur petit balcon donnant sur le port. Chaque soir, un employé passe par notre chambre pour voir si on a besoin de quelque chose. Vraiment très attentionné ! Eau et jus laissés à la chambre chaque jour: très pratique."

"This property is absolutely beautiful. The breakfast buffet was amazing with so many choices. My favorite was the homemade yogurt with toppings and fresh fruit. The gardens were well maintained and the amenities were lovely. Our room was spacious and clean and the personalized service was perfect for an anniversary trip!"

"We had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The room was clean, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast could be improved, as there is room for more variety and better options. The location is good for exploring Ponta Delgada city and its historical sites, with many attractions easily accessible. However, if you plan to explore other parts of the island, I highly recommend renting a small car,(free street parking after 8pm. The parking meter kick in 8am, so just get your parking ticket for next morning, very convenient. Overall, very nice place to stay when visiting Azores."

"The hotel is located near the center of the older part of Ponta Delgado. The rooms were well designed and very comfortable. Staff were very friendly and provided prompt service. The bar and restaurant had convenient hours and the breakfast included with the stay was excellent. I would not hesitate to stay here again on my next visit."

"The hotel is well located within 15 minutes walk to downtown. Parking is available for additional 5 euros, however there is plenty of parking spaces in front of hotel and it's free from 19:00 till 08:00 next day. Pay at meter. Hotel includes breakfast bar, although it's exactly the same every day so it gets a bit tiring. However, it's convenient and plenty of food to fill up before your daily activities. They provide beach towel service for free, which was very welcoming and convenient. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Hotel has a pool, which we didn't use so can't comment on it. Overall we were satisfied and would recommend."
