“The house, the space, the design, the views, the electrics blinds! It had everything you needed and felt an inviting house with household essentials to use/share. The house was a luxury to stay in. Communication with (We Host Maderia) Carlota prior to arrival was very helpful and appreciated too. Some specific info of house number/description in directions to help with expecting the steep approach and finding the accommodation for new arrivals to the island in a hire car. “Ein sehr schönes Haus, sauber und gepflegt. Alles da was man braucht, Grill, gute Küchenausstattung, großer Kühlschrank. Wer sich selbst bekochen will, muss allerdings alles, auch Salz und Pfeffer, vor Ort besorgen. Von allen Zimmern, Küche und Wohnbereich ein toller Blick auf das Meer. Die Autobahn ist zwar in Sichtweite, stört aber nicht wirklich. Die Lage ist zentral, 10 min bis zum Supermarkt und 20 min. bis in die Innenstadt von Funchal. Das Haus hat eine große Garage mit direktem Zugang……

“If you like modern styles, comfort and spaciousness, then you will love this property. It is very well equipped and exceptionally clean. The pool, outside patio and barbecue area was a luxury to us, even just to look out onto as it was sadly too chilly for most of our stay in November to make full use of the area. We really enjoyed the quiet rural location and the fact that you could just walk along the levadas from the house or into the small town of Ponta do Pargo. It was a great location……

“We enjoyed our stay at Tropical Villa. The villa is located uphill in a quiet neighbourhood and it was lovely to sit outside on an evening looking out to sea and watching the stars come out. We particularly appreciated the pool and the parasols (three) in the pool area. The villa was very well stocked and comfortable.”

“Just returned from a lovely holiday in the amazing Quinte Marefe. The villa is very well equipped and has everything you need for a wonderful stay. The views are lovely and especially good at sunset. There are some lovely restaurants/bars within walking distance. Roderick was the most amazing host, can’t recommend him or Quinte Marefe enough”

“Madeira was beautiful, the home was nice and spacious but much more dated than in the photos. It was fully stocked which was nice to cook in, and lots of space to roam around with a beautiful view. To note: Wifi is not strong throughout the top floor, a TV wasn't working, power went out numerous times and there was a stench that lingered from the bathrooms that lasted the whole stay. I did message the host about these issues at the end of our stay so they can improve this for the next guest. As……
