Family Spring Break

Great stay

The house was great and the view was amazing. Drinking coffee on the deck and watching the waves in the mornings was a great way to start the day. There are plenty of places to sit and relax, and the big kitchen was a bonus. We had a small issue with our door code not working, but a super quick phonecall had the issue fixed immediately. I hope that we are able to get this place again when we come back next year!

Fun was had by all.

4 couples had a spectacular time. Views, beach access, main living area with tons of room. Decks to watch sunrises and sunsets. Perfect for golfing in Ponte Vedra and touring historic St Augustine.

Good times

House is very nice. Need an update on the master bathroom no shower. Living room have a beautiful views. A lot of kitchen utensils. Great for a big family All room downstairs are great Thank you. We will be back

Mostly solid, in a great location

Really enjoyed our stay. We had 6 adults and had plenty of room. The spot on the beach was excellent - the windows and view were amazing. The house just needs a lot of maintenance - two nights without or with partial AC, the outside deck could not be walked on without shoes (the sea really takes a toll when things aren't maintained), freezer door has an issue and kept gettin frozen shut, the only king bedroom had bi-fold doors on the bathroom, so it provided no privacy from sound or light, the front door was an issue at check-in, as the batteries were too low to be opened with the lock and the thermostats had similar issues with batteries. We stayed during the hurricane and didn't have much in the way of winds, but there were significant issues with metal flashing on the chimney, which kept the entire house awake with banging and bass. Still a big home, on a beautiful spot, and even though much of the decor is dated, it was still a good stay - we're pretty easy going. Lots of beds and lots of places to hang out. With some maintenance, easily a 5 star place. The management company was very nice and very responsive.

Family Vacation

Our family group ranged in age from 1-74. There were 13 total. The house was perfect for our group and had plenty of sleeping areas. We loved the large upstairs family area that had enough seating for everyone and room for the kids to play. The kitchen was spacious and well-stocked. Best of all was the close location of the beach. We highly recommend this home!

Tucked Away Treasure

This house and location was amazing. It was far enough away from all the public stuff that you ended up with so much beach to yourself. However 20 mins or less and you have multiple grocery stores, restaurants and ice cream at your finger tips. The house is spacious and had plenty of room for 9 people to spread out and not feel cramped. It was enjoyable to sit in the window seats and just watch the ocean and wildlife. The master bath could use some updating but the house overall provided all that we needed.

The House Needs Maintenance

The attention paid to each detail by the original owner(s) is impressive. Unfortunately, its best days are behind. Spend some money on upkeep.

Lovely, but needs a little love

This home has a lot of pros, but several cons. The beach location is truly amazing, so quiet and we felt like we had the whole beach to ourselves. The living/dining/kitchen area of the home is very comfortable for a large group. The kitchen has new appliances and very well supplied. Living room windows overlooking the beach are stunning. The low points of the home would be the master on the main floor - the bathroom is very outdated and in need of maintenance and updating. The 1990's garden tub needs to be updated to a decent shower. The decks and outdoor walkways are in desperate need of maintenance and repair, a lot of rotting and splintering boards that need attention. The foliage on the road side is so overgrown that pulling out on to that 55mph road is outright hazardous. All in all, a really lovely property that needs some solid maintenance to really shine.
