“First time in Castlebar and found this hotel to be a great location to stay in before my meeting next day. Whilst i arrived after 7pm and the restaurant kitchen closed at 7pm, I rang the reception and they offered me the choice to pre order a dinner - went for Roast Beef. On arrival check-in was very swift, my room was warm and comfortable and dinner when served was delicious. Quiet room with warm shower and great bed - so superb sleep enjoyed. Breakfast was delicious with nice choices on……

“Homely, comfortable if a tad dated. My room had been newly renovated. The bed and pillows were very comfortable but the rain shower had weak pressure. There was a bit of noise from children running around the corridors and playing at the rear of the hotel but it was otherwise peaceful and comfortable. The staff, without exception, were super friendly and helpful. ”

“We had a nice stay here. Loved Westport. Easy to walk downtown from the location. Many great options for restaurants and pubs. Room was too hot with no way to control the heat, but were able open the windows to make it comfortable. ”
