「Good experience of staying」

「Check in was super quick, inside the pub. The rooms were like Four little cottages, and it felt like you had your own little house, as you had a front door key. Each room had a table and chairs outside, so ideal if you smoke. The full English breakfast cooked to order, was excellent. Fresh, good quality ingredients, cooked perfectly. Parked in the pub car park, and had no problem getting a space.」

「Nice village hotel and our check in and room were good on the face of it. Other than the guy who checked us in, staff was generally rude. We had booked for breakfast at 08:00 on the first morning, and having travelled the previous day from Asia ended up waking earlier and found ourselves waiting in the breakfast room around 7:10, hoping to be able to request breakfast at 7:30 when it opened. We were greeted by a man in a hurry, brusquely telling us over his shoulder whilst rushing around doing...

「Great」

「Room needed a lick of paint, but overall a lovely country pub/restaurant/hotel. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, and parking right outside the hotel was great - although apparently they hold a market there on Wednesdays, so not sure what the arrangements are then.」
