“We had a great time in the hotel. the rooms are big and clean. we also get a lots of TV channel to watch. people there are SUPER kind and helpful as we called in to say we'll arrive late around 10pm and the person waited us to give us a warm welcome. “Came to Havelock North with little knowledge of the town. Te Mata lodge was clean, tidy and easily accommodated 2 adults and three kids (Yes Splash planet water park trip).
They suggested Allesandro's which was 3 - 5 minute walk. Literally the best italian food i've ever had. Also went out to Waimarama beach on our 36c day - also a stunning beach which was family friendly to swim - all thanks to Te Mata lodge and their knowledge. Never be scared to ask for tips”
