Sorry, but the SMALL PRINT needs to come first - The base price is for the initial one or two guests. Additional guests -INCLUDING CHILDREN OF ANY AGE - are charged at $30 per person, per night. Undeclared additional guests are charged at $100 per person, per night, charged through VRBO as "additional guest" and due immediately. The external portions of the space (Front/Back yard, and walkways)are covered by security cameras to ensure the safety and integrity of the property. Use of the Sauna is shared with the unit on the alley (OAK ALLEY) and with the owners who live on the main floor. Instructions are on the Sauna and is "first come first served". The apartment and general grounds are SMOKE FREE and are not 420 friendly.

NOW FOR THE GOOD STUFF. Chez ZigZag is an upstairs apartment accessed from 204 S Oak St. The unit comes with an assortment of complimentary snacks. It has a delightful view of the Strait of Juan de Fuca , Victoria, B.C., Mt. Baker and assorted ocean going vessels. The activity of the harbor is always changing. Over 60 different types of boats and ships can be seen regularly.

"Chez" (pronounced "shay") is French for "at the home of", and "ZigZag" is derived from the locally named ‘zigzag’ walkway that connects the home to the downtown area. Chez ZigZag is within easy walking distance of: downtown and an excellent organic grocery "Country Aire", Field Arts And Event Center, and Safeway / Starbucks, the Coho Ferry and Hollywood Beach/ Discovery Trail head. Downtown also boasts a wide variety of excellent restaurants - all just a short walk away.

Guests have access to either the front patio with its clear "Dome-a-cile", the rear covered patio in the back, and the Sauna. Chez ZigZag offers a memorable home away from home, stocked with everything you could want or need for a wonderful visit to Port Angeles. The owners live on the main level and are eager to make sure your stay is the very best. Why stay anywhere else!

Location With Wonderful Outdoor Space
Highly recommend this gem of a property in Port Angeles. Clean, comfortable, well equipped including coffee, a treat basket, and fresh eggs. Hosts are helpful but unobtrusive. The outside space is a treat. Sitting by the fire watching the ships- so relaxing.

We used this as our starting point for ONP and it was perfect. It had everything we needed. Location was great (walkable to most areas), it was clean, and much bigger than we expected. Would stay again!

Enjoyed everything about this property. Property managers live on site - which was helpful when the access code to the door didn’t work initially upon arrival. They fixed immediately and didn’t have any problems after that. Again, everything was wonderful!

we had as great a time as you can have when parenting two tiny kids. very glad to have AC. hosts lent us a tiny screwdriver and we had some nice chats. note that one bedroom was very hot as it was separate from the air conditioned area, but the baby didn't seem to mind. only complaint would be the dog poop in the yard--not ideal for toddlers walking around. otherwise, the place was clean and had everything we could have needed. having a pack-n-play and high chair available were clutch. thanks to the hosts for a great stay.

Base Camp ONP
We had a wonderful time staying in Port Angeles. Chez ZigZag was the perfect place to land after a day of hiking and sightseeing in Olympic National Park. The hosts were very kind and attentive to our needs. Would recommend Chez ZigZag as a great place to use as you explore the beautiful PNW. Quick access to downtown and to the ferry that travels to Victoria, Canada. The views of the harbor were beautiful and interesting. We enjoyed watching the changing traffic in the harbor.

Best Getaway
This place was wonderful!!! It had every amenity possible: patio with a fully stocked fireplace, tables picnic table, swings and even an igloo with a panoramic view of the water. The backyard had a pen full of hens, beautiful gardens, sauna and a swing. It was a short walk to a cute downtown area. A bonus - they stocked the kitchen with some snacks and coffee. The manager was incredibly kind and helpful.

This is a wonderful place to stay if you want to hike in Olympic National Park and also take the ferry over to visit Victoria. It was clean, the owners were very responsive and the view of the harbor was lovely.

Beautiful view both of bay and mountains. I am use to having the place to ourselves but it didnt seem to be a problem. Nice touches of chocolate next to bed. Fresh eggs in refrigerator and snacke on the counter.

A great place to stay for exploring Olympic National Park and surrounding areas. The apartment is cozy, clean, comfortable and well appointed. The views of the water are breathtaking with something different to see each time you look. This is our second time staying here and hope to do so in the future. Lovely Port Angeles Getaway!
This was the perfect find. We absolutely loved the location. Easy walk into town with a beautiful overlook ocean view. The accommodations were well appointed with several thoughtful touches. The unit is located above the owners house, but is separate and private. The owners were very responsive when we had a question. We would happily stay here again if we were in the area.
