「Staff and room were great. My only concern is the difficulty opening the door from the stairwell to the second floor. The door dragged on the carpet and was extremely hard to push/pull open. In an emergency this could be disastrous. I don’t know about the other doors, but I expect the same problem exists.」

「The property was unique and a surprise. Was located slightly off busy traffic and in a very quiet area. The lobby and openness of pool area was pleasant and unexpected. The rooms were clean and large in size. Only wish they still had a restaurant on site, but there were offsite dining available.」

「We found the location excellent, as we were expected to arrive at the Twilight Riverboat two-day excursion the next day at 7:30 am. After the boat tour, we stayed another night, seeing it was after 6 pm and a little late to head back to Wisconsin.」

「Staff was friendly and welcoming. Basically pretty clean, except for refrigerator ~ something had been spilled by previous occupants and had not been cleaned by housekeeping. Breakfast was good - decaf coffee was barely warm - some items had been cleaned out by the early leaving guests and not replenished.」

「Nice little Hotel. I normally stay IHG, but the Holiday Inn in Clinton does not allow pets. Booked here, not knowing what I was gonna find, but I was pleasantly surprised!!! I was able to get a room that had a whole separate bedroom from the living area, which is a must when you have a dog, that will bark at the wind. Keeps them away from the front entry and all the noises. TVs could use an upgrade, but the internet was good...if you are a gamer. Would stay here again with no hesitation!!! Oh...

「The 1st thing you notice when entering to check in is that the place smelled like cigarette smoke. I guess they still allow smoking in the casino. Fortunately, I couldn't smell it in the room. The room had a mini-fridge that I used for leftovers, but there was no place to reheat them. I had to take them to the front desk to have them heat them up for me in the back. They should have at least 1 microwave on each floor by the vending machines. The leftovers was from their own steakhouse, which was...
