Perfect family (and dogs) holiday villa

Villa Roccia is great. Beach just across the road was fabulous for late evening walks…but the pool and hot tub area was the star of the holiday. The village has a couple of grocery shops with a wonderful boulangerie too. Everyone was friendly, especially the host, Carine. Wonderful holiday. Long drive from uk but French roads and drivers are so much calmer than uk, so it was stress free from Calais.

Fantastic week in France

We were a family of 13 age ranging from 6 years old - 70 years old. We had a fantastic stay, The villa was much bigger than we expected with lots of seating areas throughout the house. The swimming pool area was great. The house was in a lovely town however you need a car to get around. The host Carin was lovely showed us around the villa on arrival and even sorted out a vets appointment for the dog. Nothing was too much trouble.Fantastic week in a fantastic location. Would recommend anyone to stay here.

Amazing house and surroundings

We have spent an amazing week last week in this wonderful home. The views are unbelievable, the house is located right opposite the sea, you literally cross the road and you are on the beach!! The location was great for us, quite retreated from the busy touristic areas but yet, still near some great places to visit (Ile Madame of course at walking distance, Rochefort, La Rochelle, Ile d'Oléron, Ile d'Aix, etc...). The house was so well equipped and the swimming-pool area was a paradise for the children....and I have to say, for the adults too!! We made great use of the facilities, even if we had a fantastic weather and spent most of the days out, it was blissful to come back top a warm bubbling jacuzzi after a long day out visiting the area. Karine, the hostess is so helpful and bubbly and she will make you feel at home from the word go. I am hoping that one day we will come back here.

Nous avons passé de fantastiques vacances entouré de nos enfants et petits-enfants.La villa "La Roccia" est superbe : tout y est : piscine chaufffée, jacuzzi, sauna, différentes terrasses, bbq et tout ce qu'il faut pour cuisiner et manger d'excellents repas.Et n'oublions surtout pas la gentillesse de notre hôte.

Séjour Grands parents, enfants, petits enfants.

Superbe villa avec vue sur la mer. Une des plages de Port des Barques est juste en face de la maison et le chemin côtier est également devant la maison.La maison est spacieuse, beaucoup de toilette et de salles de bain. Plusieurs terrasses également. L'espace piscine est vraiment top avec piscine intérieure chauffée, jacuzzi et sauna. Il y a de grandes baies vitrées qui permettent d'ouvrir la piscine. 2 espaces canapés, un sur une mezzanine et l'autre au bord de la piscine. La piscine est bien sécurisée, bâche, alarme et l'espace piscine peut être fermé à clé ce qui est sécurisant avec des enfants en bas âge.Carine est une propriétaire au top, très accueillante et qui a répondu à nos questions lorsque nous l'avons sollicité.Nous avons passé une super semaine, nous recommandons vivement!!!

Merci à Carine et Yvan qui nous ont très bien accueilli dans cette superbe maison au bord de la plage ! Nous avons pu profiter des multiples activités dans la maison (Piscine, Jacuzzi, Tennis de table, Baby-foot, ...) et les commodités sont assez proches.

Depuis l’accueil jusqu’au départ, les propriétaires ont été arrangeants et à l’écoute. Nous étions deux familles et l’agencement de la maison a été commode car chacune avait son étage. L’espace piscine est vraiment très sympa, nous en avons bien profité. Les enfants se sont bien amusés et tout est sécurisé. La localisation de la maison est parfaite pour des balades sur la plage et l’accès à l’île Madame. Nous recommandons !

Wow. What a wonderful place.

We had a fantastic stay at La Roccia. A beautiful Villa with quick access to beach and coastal walks. House has everything; character, space, light, sun traps, cool space, wooden floor, fully equiped with an array of equipmemt. Like having your own gym.
