The pool was heaven, my friends and I spent hours everyday, floating our worries away. We each had a room with ensuite to retire to when we'd had enough together time. The kitchen provided everything we needed but we didnt cook, we were on holiday. The location was perfect. We had access to the beach, restaurants, bottleshop and bus stop. No car was required unless we did a tour. We did not want to leave and I would stay here again, in a heartbeat.

Brilliant property

Excellent for an extended family holiday. The home is well appointed, spacious and beautifully decorated. Great that each bedroom has its own bathroom. The tropical gardens are amazing, surrounding houses are quite near but you wouldn’t think so with all of the tropical gardens for privacy. Host was extremely helpful with our few questions beforehand.

Great holiday house, had an amazing stay!

This was a great place to stay, 5 adults and 3 children and we had plenty of room. We didn't get to use the pool much due to the weather which was unfortunate, but did many day trips to other local areas. Four Mile Beach is 20 meters away which was handy. The kitchen was well equipped and well stocked. We had an amazing time and would definitely stay here again. John was easy to deal with, even before we booked.

Large house great location

The bathrooms and linen were clean but the house is starting to look a little tired. That said, all of us had our own bathrooms which was fantastic for a large group and the location was perfect- right on the beach and a short stroll to local cafe/restaurants. Kids made great use of the pool and we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you to the host for use of this fantastic house.

Family holiday

We went to Port Douglas to celebrate a special birthday with our 3 adult children, their partners and our grand daughter. The house was perfect, everyone had their own space with large common areas for us to be together. The kitchen had everything we needed. The beach was a short stroll at the end of the road to with beautiful sunrises and walks on the beach. The beach shack was just around the corner for our morning coffees and town a short car ride. A great place to explore the area from. The host was ver accomodating, ensuring we had a high chair and cot for the little one. Highly recommend.

wonderful family stay

this was the perfect layout and position for our family of 7 adults a three children 2,4 and 7. It is ideally located very close to the beach, and has many areas for sitting and relaxing. the pool was great. 4 bedrooms also had their own ensuites. the communal loung area was large, as was the undercover area. The owner, John was super communicative and helpful. the one negative was that it is starting to show its age with wear and tear, but I believe it is due to have some refurbishments done soon. we loved our stay here

Fantastic house steps from 4 mile beach. There were 12 of us and there was plenty of room for everybody. The pool was a big hit with the kids. It helped that there were lots of bathrooms and the cabana out the back was great. John the host was very helpful with a couple if enquiries that I had.

Great location, property has I little maintenance issues but over all nice house very spacious it was like been back in Bali. What a beautiful place to holiday! Just meters from the beach! Plenty of room for everyone! It's was great that each room had it's own bathroom. Pool area was awesome, we spent a fair bit of time in there relaxing and keeping cool. The owner John was great to deal with. Had a problem with the Weber, and a brand new one was there the very next day! We would definitely recommend this beautiful home for your next holiday destination if traveling with a large group.

Birthday and wedding anniversary celebration

This property is a perfect size for a large group, all the bedrooms having their own bathroom and balcony meant that if someone wanted their own time, they could enjoy that space. The pool is a decent size, we spent many hours in there. We took full advantage of the kitchen and BBQ, as previously mentioned in another review, an outdoor fan would've been appreciated, especially on very still days. We tried to fit in all that Port Douglas had to offer, there are lots of transport services which will take you to wherever you need to go. John is very approachable whenever we had any issues or needed extra information. All in all we had an amazing time.
