Where NOT to stay in Port Macquarie

The property was filthy, and had not been maintained in years.Water damaged ceilings - actual holes,Bucket to catch the leaks in the laundry,Blanket for curtain in the bedroom,Floors filthy!!Location is good, property was very poor!!

Not a Good Stay at all!!

Unclean, no temperature knob on oven, no handle on shower, no mop, other things as well; I had to get real estate out to look over the property as thinfs werw pretty run down; disappointing overall for price paid.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The view photo needs updating, there is currently large construction opposite.There is a large rusty dripping pipe in the carport which dripped over our car, this has been reported by phone and email with photos but no compensation offered.

Reviewer Comments: If this is how they manage a holiday unit they should inspect more often , unit was dirty throughout all cups plate ware etc needed washing before use ,web pictures are not what it actually looked like ,oven disgusting plus many more things -all in all should be ashamed to rent when you don’t inspect it prior to letting to customers

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Unit is located in a little, quiet complex with great ocean views. It's a very, very short walk to the beach. However the unit is worn out and hasn't been kept up rental standards. I'm not going to list all the issues here as I was able to live with them and I just needed somewhere to stay but I still advised the real estate so that they were aware and could get them fixed.

Great location Bad unit

Very tired dirty unit. Cracks in walls need immediate attention. Oven needs replacing. Covers on sofas need laundering. Pedestal fans were filthy. I personally cleaned the one in the bedroom ! Six flights of stairs to top unit. Not mentioned in listing. Front door needs deadlock. All vertical blinds missing slats. Location of unit is awesome. Sadly description of rental is not an honest listing. Building needs inspection to get it up to code for holiday letting. Elders Real Estate needs to manage their cleaning crew as this unit was Filthy.
