“Our stay at il Giardinetto was on a Saturday for a cruise that left the next day. It was very conveniently located near many restaurants and a 15 min walk to the port entrance. Lorenzo was a fabulous host. Luckily he caught a discrepancy in Google maps that would have led us into a restricted area of the port. Super safe and bustling area.”

“Perfect location central to everything you want to see, do, eat in Civitavecchia. It’s inside a building that seems to be both residences and businesses. Our room was spectacularly clean and very well appointed. After 8pm a code is required to enter the building and a code is required to enter the hotel area. It was very secure. The bathroom was very clean and modern. Breakfast was packaged breads and pastries in the room with yogurt, juices and bottled water in the little fridge. There……

“The room was large and very clean. The bathroom was large and had a great shower. There are a lot of cafe's and restaurants nearby. The meeting place to catch tour buses is a very short walk. There are a lot of stairs to get to the guest house, so it is not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. The instructions for entry were very good, but I emailed and messaged a few questions and never got a response back. All in all, this is an excellent guest house and I would highly recommend it to……

“The host Peter was very helpful. He made sure we had what we needed and answered all our questions. The room is tucked away behind an unassuming gate. You have to know where you are going to find it. Peter met us there and showed us around. While not the Taj Mahal the room was clean, a good size and very adequate for our needs.
