“Fiorella was extremely helpful. From the excellent directions and pictures to help us find the property, to meeting us there upon our arrival. The explanations of the property amenities and recommendations of local restaurants, right through to showing us on a map the easiest way to get to the port, she was a joy! Friendly and so helpful. We would not hesitate in recommending Vicolo to anybody planning a stay in Civitavecchia. The property is centrally placed for all local amenities. ……

“Fantastic stay. Staff was amazing and super helpful in every way, right down to transfers and directions. Breakfast was a bountiful selection of fruits and pastries and by far the best continental breakfastIi have experienced. Dont be fooled by the entrance to the place (the main building is a little run down but it looks like they are renovating some of it). the place is not just clean, but absolutely spotless. View off the sea view rooms is incredible. Cannot recommend this place enough it……

“We are regular visitors to Civitavecchia and have always stayed along the seafront, so we were initially a little apprehensive about booking accommodation further into the town. However, Gallery Suite proved to be an excellent choice. The location was much quieter than the seafront while still being within easy walking distance of the main streets, shops, and restaurants. The accommodation has been finished and equipped to a very high standard, with great attention to quality and comfort……

“The unit is very clean and spacious. It’s about 15 minutes walk from everything including the port gate, train station, and the waterfront boardwalk. Owner is very quick to respond. Great value and definitely will stay there again.”

“We were very disappointed in the amenities. Frankly, they were nonexistent. There was a pool but if you wanted a towel for the pool you had to pay 3euros. Shocking! Also, no washcloths in the bathrooms and very limited towels in the bathrooms. Our air conditioning barely worked. The cheese on the breakfast buffet was spoiled and had to be removed. The Horta Restaurant was very nice and good food. This was the only positive at Villa Tirreno. I would not recommend.”
