“We arrived for check-in and were greeted by the manager. She showed us the details of the room like the airco/heater. Our room was clean, beautiful, charming, and filled with antiques. It was like staying at a wealthy uncle and aunt's house. I thought a lot about the history of the house and wondered who might have been to parties there a hundred years ago. The neighborhood was quiet, and pretty close to the Strand and the beach. We'd definitely stay there again. ”

“Nanak (aka Nick - the shuttle driver) was great! Staff was super nice. Lobby was very nice. Location to the Pleasure Pier and Seawall Blvd, as well as offering airport shuttle, was why we booked. Room could have been cleaner (and needs some repairs (balcony door framing and ability to lock it, wall ledge above a/c, bathroom ceiling/wall patch repairs) but didnt bother complaining/asking for a change because we are just too tired and it's only for a night.
