Cape Conchs is in a wonderful location on Cape San Blas with a private pool and easy beach access. The kitchen had everything we needed. The bedrooms and bathrooms accommodated our party of 16. We will return to the cape again next summer.

The Cape just never disappoints! My only complaints about this property, aren’t even legitimate complaints…..the floors were a little sub-par & needed replacing on the main floor, the coffee maker was painfully slow, and the outdoor hoses needed replacing too, which made it difficult to clean the beach off of our feet before entering. Other than that, this house was wonderful!! The location is perfect!!

Great for a large family

Large bedrooms and updated bathrooms Bunk rooms are nice but not meant for teenagers! Very large kitchen/ living area with fold back doors.! Was able to open one day! Cleaning service did not make up all the bunk beds and put a full sheet sideways on a king bed, kitchen needed hot pads and dish towels Called maintenance to fix barstools and dishwasher and bring linens needed The house has a wine cooler and an amazing ice machine. Only needed bagged ice for frozen beverages All in all we had a wonderful time!

Summer Vaca 2022

House was wonderful! Lots of room for all of us and even quiet, alone space. The common space and pool were perfect for all of us to be together and not on top of each other. We especially loved the short walk to the beach - very convenient to go back and forth to the house. The ice machine was awesome! Our coolers were iced down all week! Thank you for sharing your beach house with us.

We enjoyed our stay. There were 4 families in the house ages from 2 to 70. The house was large so we could spread out. The views were beautiful, the pool was nice, and the rooms were spacious.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Location was excellent being midway up the peninsula. Close to the Trading Post and a few shops. The area is very quiet and the beaches were clean and pristine. We would definitely come back here again! A huge plus this property was dog friendly, made it for an ever better experience being able to bring our dog along for vacation.Cape Conchs was a great house, but it was definitely showing some wear and tear. Many of the window shades were broken, a broken tv in a guest bedroom, and a few other minor things like light bulbs burnt out. These are somewhat expected in a rental property and none of them caused any negative impact of our vacation. The house is HUGE and was very clean! Room for plenty of guests and family, two refrigerators, well stocked kitchen, industrial sized ice machine in pantry, and plenty of seating. The patio furniture could be replaced with something nicer since the chairs were basic plastic and on the cheaper side from what we expected with a house that is considered luxury priced. The house came with a beach cart/wagon which was nice to have something easy to haul our beach gear to and from each day. Bike path along Cape San Blas Rd was very convenient for biking, running, and walking. It is a decent 25-30 minute drive to the grocery store so come stocked for a few days to limit the amount of time you have you drive to the grocery store.

Great stay at Cape Conchs

We enjoyed a great week-long family vacation at Cape Conchs! The house is huge with plenty of room to spread out. The pool on the main floor is super convenient (we heated ours for our Stay in October and it felt great!) plus the easy walk on the private boardwalk to the beach. There were plenty of other people at the beach but you always have plenty of space without feeling crowded. This house is a perfect location for great sunrises (off the front) and incredible sunsets (off the back). We cooked all meals at the house and were pretty impressed with all the kitchen had to offer - really everything you’d ever need. We had a few things we had to have maintenance come by for but they were very responsive. One of my only critiques is most of the beds (and even pillows) were very uncomfortable. Might be time for an upgrade. But everything else helped make our trip perfect! Would definitely rent again!

These house has plenty a room for the kids to take a break from each other when need. Two things happened one was ice machine was broken and main level air condition was acting up. Ice machine was never fixed. We had to go get ice. It took just about all week for someone to come look at it. As for Air condition, I call and the had someone there that evening. We left to go eat dinner. When we got back it was all good. But we would like to see somethings get updated & upgraded to. : new rugs in the living room & bedrooms. : potholders or worn out. : lightbulbs blown out in just about every room in the house and on the back porch. It was like this last year to. : need more trash cans two cans or not enough. : outdoor shower fixtures need to be fixed. : outside of the house needs to be pressure washed had a little Green mode in some areas.

Wonderful vacation home

Cape Conch is a great house for large family vacations. We loved the openness of the kitchen/dining room/den. The views were gorgeous, all of the bedrooms are large and accommodating. The ice maker and second refrigerator are a great addition but unfortunately both of the ice makers were broken the whole week we were there. The beds were very comfortable but king sized beds need king sized pillows. The elevator was great for unloading everything the day we arrived. The private boardwalk all the way to the beach is also a very nice feature. We recommend renting or bringing a beach cart for hauling chairs, umbrellas, tents etc. to the beach. We also loved the pool being on the main level. Another great place to watch the sunset! We are looking forward to visiting again next year.

I will say Cape Conch is beginning to show some wear. It might be time for someone to go in and freshen up the place paying special attention to the kitchen. It has always had plenty of kitchen gadgets, bowls, flatware, etc but it could use some better cookware. Finally, I will say the ice maker and large pantry with extra fridge is why my family keeps booking. It is a game changer and not all large houses have these items. Overall, we love the house!

Cape Conch was Wonderful

Location and house setup were perfect. House included everything one would need in kitchen. The open concept of the kitchen, game area, and living area made it great space to hang out. Pool area was very handy and nice to hang out at night. Short walk to beach on a well maintained boardwalk was enjoyable. Bedrooms were spacious and everyone that stayed had their own bathroom. Looking to reserve the same house for next year and years to come. Thank you to the owners for providing such a nice facility.

Nice Stay

The property was very nice and roomy. Kitchen very good needed the two refrigerators and the shelves for putting your food on in the storage room was so helpful. We were not able to use the ice machine because it was not working and the elevator stopped working after the first day and did not get fixed so we had to carry everything down the stairs from the top on down. But otherwise we enjoyed our family vacation there.

Fabulous Family Vacation at Cape Conchs

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This huge, gorgeous house right on the beach was perfect for our group of 12 - eight adults and four children. The house was clean, spacious and well-appointed. The location was fantastic and the kids couldn't get enough of the pool. We loved Cape San Blas and the unique activities including dolphin watching, fishing, exploring the state park . . . and the donuts. Weber's Little Donuts is a MUST and an easy walk from the house. During our stay, we had an issue with an appliance, which had been broken during the previous stay and only found hours before we arrived. How issues are handled is a true test of a rental property. I can't say enough about how the the Cape & Coast team and the owner handled the situation. There was great communication on repair timelines and concern to ensure we had a wonderful stay. We highly recommend Cape Conch and Cape & Coast Vacation Rentals!
