Hi my name is Dan and we are very sorry to hear about your experience with us. Our Breakfast includes local and imported fruit, two selections of cereal, Milk, Tea and Coffee and Fresh House Made Bread (which is kept in the fridge). We are not entirely sure what you mean by WET Bread so we can not comment on this. We place all these items in the shared kitchen as a free self service for guests as we do not open the bar for breakfast. I have checked the kettle and there is a problem with the locking mechanism of the Kettle and while you are still able to use the kettle, we have replaced it straight away with a spare. The Toaster was checked and maybe you forgot to press the toasting button as it is perfect working order and we have no idea what you mean by this. The Twin room is without window but does have glass bricks to increase sound proofing from surroundings while still letting in light during the day. This helps with a quiet sleep. There is a ventilation system in place to make sure there is fresh air in the rooms to combat that lack of window. From time to time things do break unfortunately living in the tropics does not make this any less true, but when we are alerted to or find a failure, we rectify the situation immediately. I can imagine you are talking about another guest who when first got to the room the Fan was broken so we placed them into another room. As all the other rooms fan are in perfect working order I am not sure how this affected you? In future when staying in any establishment I would encourage you to alert a staff member of any issues you may have while you are staying as to give them the chance to fix the issue. We are unable to fix any issues once you have left the property. I can only hope you have safe happy travels and thank for your feedback. Kind Regards

Hi Sarah, Sorry to hear your stay wasn't too your expectation, Vanuatu is an expensive place to stay and I think you would find a hard time beating a Queen Room with a lagoon view for $60 a night anywhere else. But as far as your opinion we have noted that down. If you were to look at the definition of Continental Breakfast on google "a light breakfast, typically consisting of coffee and rolls with butter and jam." We also include on top Coco pops and Cornflakes along to make it a little more. That being said we are now adding paw paw fruit and banana now they are in season. Lastly the comment you made about valuables and money being locked away makes us sound unsafe. We have multiple security doors and alarms set encase of intruders. From your comment you sound as though something has happened to you here? Considering we are on site at all times and we the owners cleaned your room on each occasion I would find it difficult to think anything happened to your valuables when you were out of your room. I am sorry if this comes across as aggressive, but we take great effort to ensure things are ready for our guests, it is disappointing to think although we spoke with you everyday of your stay and asked about your day every time you returned. that this is the first time we have heard any negative feedback. I'm sorry you did not enjoy your stay with us, I would suggest next time you stay somewhere voicing concerns to management / owners. Maybe there is something they can do to improve your stay or settle your nerves. It is poor practice to tell people that they are enjoying there stay and indicating they are having a good time, then write a poor review later. We hope in the end you enjoyed Vanuatu as a whole.
