A lower-level apartment, entered through its own door, laid out open and simple.
Bedroom: a queen bed with a door that shuts for privacy.
Living area: a couch, a 46" TV, a desk for working, and a separate queen folding bed that sets up outside the bedroom door, handy with a kid.
Kitchen: fully equipped, with a dining table.
Bathroom: one, modern. Washer and dryer in the unit. Mini-splits handle heat and AC, run from one remote. Fast Wi-Fi.
Your own entrance with a lockbox beside it. The code arrives by message before check-in. Bags can be dropped from noon. The upper floor of the house is a separate rental.
Check-in is self-guided, so you can arrive on your own schedule. I'm a message away whenever you need anything during your stay.
You're at the quiet west end of Division, where the restaurant strip begins. Pine State Biscuits is four minutes away, the rest of Division's cafes and bars east of it. Street parking in front has two-hour limits weekdays and Saturdays from 8 to 6, with no limits evenings and Sundays, and unrestricted blocks a short walk east. We send a map.
The Clinton and 12th MAX station is a 9-minute walk, with the Orange Line downtown in 10 minutes. Driving, downtown is 7 minutes and PDX airport 17.
It's a lower-level apartment: you may hear footsteps from the unit above, and freight trains pass a block away during the day. The second bed is a folding bed, not a sofa. Towels are provided, washcloths aren't.
The apartment is for the guests on the booking only.
