- The Gregory House is a masterfully restored Victorian home in the downtown historic district of Saco Maine. Saco is conveniently located close to numerous local beaches: Old Orchard Beach (a seven mile stretch of sandy beach with a pier that extends 500 feet into the ocean and New England's only beachfront amusement park) is 11 mins/4 miles, Ferry Beach State Park 10 min/4.3 miles, Camp Ellis Beach 11 min/4.5 miles, Bay View Beach 6 mins/2.9 miles. South of Saco is Wells Beach 25 min/21 miles, Ogunquit Beach 37 min/26 miles. Kennebunkport 24 min/11.7 miles. North of Saco is Portland 18 mins/14.3 miles The Amtrak station is 0.4 miles from the house. Close to many popular tourist destinations, 25 minute drive to Portland and up the road from the University of New England.
