Achtung Betrug!

Zu Aufenthalt und Wohnung gibt es an dieser Stelle nichts zu sagen. Denn alles wird überlagert vom erpresserischen Verhalten der Firma, die die Wohnung für fewo-direkt.de vor Ort verwaltet: GuestReady.Was ist passiert? Meine Buchung und die Bezahlung des bestätigten Mietpreises waren ca. zwei Monate vor Reiseantritt schriftlich bestätigt. Als ich 24 Stunden vor Anreise die Login-Informationen noch nicht erhalten hatte, habe ich nachgefragt. Ich wurde aufgefordert, einen zusätzlichen Betrag in Höhe von ca. 20 % der bereits bezahlten Miete zu bezahlen, um „die Zugangsinformationen für die Wohnung zu erhalten“ (das gibt es schriftlich im WhatsApp-Chat mit GuestReady). Nicht zuletzt, weil ich zu einem vierwöchigen Arbeitsaufenthalt in Porto sein würde und nach 22:00 Uhr anreiste, habe ich diesen Betrag zähneknirschend und unter Vorbehalt bezahlt.Dieses Geld habe ich sowohl bei der Konzernmutter VRBO (ein Reise-Konzern in den USA), bei fewo-direkt.de (gehört zu VRBO) und bei GuestReady (eine Gesellschaft mit Sitz in Frankreich, die die Wohnungen in Porto verwalten/vermarket) zurückgefordert. Bekommen habe ich es bis heute nicht. Stattdessen – man kann es sich denken – reichen mich die beteiligten Firmen im Kreis herum. Die Sache geht am 15. April zum Anwalt.
