Long Weekend

Absolutely loved the Accommodation and the overall area. Had a brilliant Weekend. Very good communication from start to finish but I must agree with other review that the refrigerator was a bit smelly so we didn’t really want to put anything in there, good excuse to eat out 3 times a day though.would use again

Great Management, Uncomfortable Location

Owner and property manager were great - very responsive and welcoming. They even left us a bottle of wine - a nice touch indeed. Unit was very nice - clean and spacious. The only negative was the location. While it was logistically convenient, the area was a bit uncomfortable. Inside the unit, we felt completely safe. Outside, however, there was loitering, begging, and litter (broken beer bottles and cigarette butts). We felt uncomfortable going out after dark. And, even during the day, we found ourselves looking for the best route to and from the apartment.

Nice place

Nice place, in a location pretty close from the center but far enough to have the feeling that you're in the real Porto ! Just a bit noisy outside (many cars in the street below) and inside (some neighbours pretty annoying)

Porto

Property was clean(except for the fridge that had a bad smell and needed to be wiped down with a cleaner), bright, comfortable and was in a great location for all we wanted to see and do. The property manager met us at check in and went over everything about the rental and also provided advice and recommendations on restaurants and tours. This was great. The property manager was always quick to respond. We would recommend this property to people staying in Porto.

Great location

Overall very happy with the property, was a little surprised to learn AFTER I booked that parking is an additional €15 per night (The description said parking was available but didn’t mention a fee) but the host was very gracious and waived the parking fee for the two nights we were there. The location couldn’t be better and the rooftop terrace is great for morning coffee or an evening cocktail.

Wunderbar und für schöne Stunden gut

Wer Porto pur und ohne Schnörkel erleben will, ist in dieser kleinen Wohnung richtig. Die Lage ist genau richtig um alles was man als Urlauber "braucht" in der Nähe zu haben aber dabei nicht im Touristenstrom ertrinkt. Das Appartement liegt im Herzen der Stadt und das ist fühlbar und hörbar, wenn man auf dem großen Balkon sitz und aufs andere Flussufer schaut Um zu schlafen hieß es also: Fenster zu und Jalousien runter. Uns hat das nicht gestört. In dem Appartement haben schon viele Menschen, vermutlich schöne Stunden verlebt. Das ist an einigen Stellen erkennbar, z.B. an den abgegriffenen Küchenschränken. Die Jahre waren den Möbeln anzusehen aber alles funktionierte. Wir haben uns wohlgefühlt und waren glücklich.

Fantastic!

Very organized! We took advantage of the pick-up at the airport since this was our first trip to Porto. There was someone there when we arrived to meet us with the keys and suggestions as to what to see and where to eat. The apartment was as presented on the website. It was very clean, well equipped with the necessities and was in a great location, close to all the sights. The bed was very comfortable. We felt very safe and secure at this property and would recommend it to anyone looking for a great stay in Portugal!
