Zentral gelegene Unterkunft nicht weit vom Bahnhof Bento entfernt in schöner Straße. Das Bett in meinem Cosy-Zimmer war sehr bequem. Das Bad war recht groß und hatte eine sehr breite Regendusche. Gewöhnungsbedürftig ist gewesen, dass sich die Fenster des Zimmers im 2. Stock hinter einer nach oben hin offenen Mauer befinden. Man konnte sie öffnen, aber nur nach oben raussehen. Dafür war es bei geschlossenem Fenster sehr ruhig, obwohl es nach vorne zur lebhhaften rua da flores heraus lag. Frühstück war in Ordnung, Es war vielfältig, aber mit 18,00 € vielleicht etwas überzahlt. Das sehr freundliche Personal hat für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt gesorgt.

Sadly this hotel did not meet expectations - especially seeing all the positive reviews… The walls are very thin, so we didn’t manage to sleep very well between noise from other rooms, hotel cleaning staff, and the morning bin run. We had to ask three times to have a large cob web removed from the window shutter. My husband also had a white T shirt go missing (we assume he left it on the bed, and it was thrown in with the sheets). These things happen - but altogether it just didn’t feel like this hotel was worth the price.

Great location, rooms are very well maintained and clean, good variety breakfast, staff is very polite and nice throughout the hotel. They prepared a generous take-away breakfast when we had to leave early. Restaurant serves good a la carte lunch/dinner.

The hotel is located in a beautiful area of Porto, and the overall condition of the hotel was good. But be careful of the room you get, as my room was in what felt like the basement. It was very dark and looked out on a wall. When I asked the staff if I could be moved they did nothing to accommodate me, other than say they would look into it. This lasted for multiple days. The staff was also extremely slow to respond to any request including supplying us with robes and towels for pool and saunas. It took a full day to receive them even after multiple requests.the other thing to be warned about is the hotel felt extremely noisy, possibly due to poor construction. I would advise you to look elsewhere when staying in Porto.

Perfect location on a pedestrian only street so the room was lovely and quiet. We stayed in a cosy room which was nicely designed and reasonable value. The only negative re the room, was the view. The window faces onto a wall about a metre away. The wall is covered by plastic greenery with light coming from the top only. It almost felt like a skylight and so we needed to have the room light on most of the time. The reception staff and cleaning staff were very good. The small gym and pool were a nice extra. It has a nice bar. Overall a good stay. The only other negative was the breakfast times. Tours to the Douro Valley generally start at 8 but breakfast is only available from 7:30 onwards. We came to the breakfast room at 7:23 and the food was fully laid out. We asked if we could grab something 7 minutes early but the lady in the downstairs room flatly refused. I think she could have handled it much better and been a little more accommodating. It is something to consider if you are booking the breakfast option but planning to do tours with an early start time. Despite this we did enjoy our stay.

The hotel was exceptional! Excellent location, clean & updated rooms with comfortable accommodations. The amenities, such as the pool and sauna, were a nice bonus. Rita the concierge was an excellent hostess as was the entire staff! The location cannot be beat. I will absolutely return to Porto and this hotel. 5++ stars!
