"The house is lovely and in a beautiful location right on the coast overlooking the ocean. Complete with sun loungers on the deck, and table & chairs to eat outside too. We were central for reaching the attractions we wanted to see such as the gardens and for walks, outdoor centre down the road if wanting to book activities, restaurants close by also. "

"From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, the staff made us feel welcome and were always very friendly and efficient. The hotel is small enough for everything to feel quite personal and it is in a great location just on the edge of the old town, making it an easy walk to get around without the need for buses and taxis, unless you want to go further afield. The room was spacious and well appointed with possibly one of the largest beds I have encountered in a hotel. Great walk in shower and a good sized bath too. Breakfast was excellent, with an extensive selection to choose from, including fresh fruit, cereals, cheeses and cold meats, pastries, different breads and also a good range of cooked options. The whole experience made our stay in Funchal memorable "

"For a 5 star resort one would assume things like bathrobes and slippers would be part of the room, and that was missing. Also, limited pool lounge chairs and you have to pay to use the lounge chairs it is not included in your stay. Overall nice resort it is clean, staff is friendly, rooms a cleanyou have the small town within walking distance to enjoy. "

"We had a great stay! The hotel was clean, the breakfast was great and the rooftop pool was an additional plus to just wind down and take a dip after walking around and site seeing all day. The hotel was in a very convenient location. Highly recommend this hotel if you’re staying in Funchal! "

"Loved it, room was gorgeous, staff very very friendly and helpful and all spoke excellent English. Breakfast was good, pool areas were great. Access to the sea is about a 5min walk and through a neighbouring hotel, Funchal town center is about. 25min walk away. Plenty of restaurants are nearby however. One of the most comfortable hotels I've ever stayed at, would happily revisit"

"Incredible hotel! The staff is amazing. So friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The grounds, rooms, and views are stunning. The sea pool is beyond and the diving boards are so much fun. We brought our 8 month old and they provided a crib, stuffed animal, and adorable backpack. The staff was also very sweet with the baby and offered a high chair at every meal. We also really enjoyed the thoughtful nightly gifts during turndown service. Spa also very nice. Would highly recommend. Close to the airport. Incredible experience. "
