“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this quaint and welcoming property. It was a perfect location for our time in Newport, just 15 minutes from the beach. Phil was an excellent host, incredibly responsive and attentive. Very comfortable beds as well. We’d stay there again. ”

“Location was convenient. Parking could have been a problem due to shared with public parking and lack of awareness to who was actually coming/going but we were able to find parking after circling the lot. Room is dated. Beautiful view of the harbor. Room needed a better cleaning. Elevator can be slow at times and there are stairs but stairwell appeared to be used as storage for garbage.
Staff was friendly and helpful.”

“Just your basic roadside hotel. Nothing special or fancy. Terrible pillows and a functional mattress.
Clean enough.
Beats sleeping in the car.

“First of all, it’s a hotel—and that is not mentioned in the listing. Secondly, it is a dumpy motel—dirty carpets, few amenities, stairs but no elevators. Worst of all was the customer service. I received no address or access info and when I called to get them I was asked on several attempts to try calling back in ten minutes or so. When the guy had time to talk he told me I had to supply my ID and credit card info over the phone. I told him I was at my departure airport and couldn’t forward ID……
