"This is an old Days Inn motel that was bought out by Wyndham. It has been remodeled and modernized. I love the fact there was still the old school air conditioning in the room and we could actually control the temperature and fan! And kudos for the simple light switch that didn’t require a card to activate. It was a clean, comfortable stay."

"Great time at The Cabin! We travelled with 8 adults and 3 kids under 3yrs! The master is large enough for a family suite if you bring toddler portable bedding. One of our adult children had to use the bunk bed and it was a throw back of their college days so it was a bit of PTSD haha! The room with the full/twin bunk and trundle made for another Mom-Dad-toddler suite. The remaining rooms were nicely sized for single or couple occupancy. The super huge mud room and extra fridge/freezer was awesome. Stored all our stuff (coolers, water toys, etc) & made it convenient to keep the place tidy by having this extra room-w/cubbies & coat hooks! The 3 entrances to the cabin are perfectly placed: great room, dining room, mud room for easy outdoor access & the balcony! Love having the fire pit close by & the outdoor kitchen was great for cooking all the fish caught in the river & pond! Jumping off the floating dock was a blast. Did notice the canoe has a couple of seam leaks.The kitchen: double oven and gas cook top which was great for making 3 meals/day for our group. Has plenty of cookware. Could use an extra set of cutlery as there are about 12 settings so we hand washed the forks after every meal. Cabin has 2 furnaces/AC (main and upper level zones) but w/temps over 80’s, a window unit or mini-split would help cool the middle upper BR. To keep this room cool, froze out the Master. Wildlife: Saw deer, herons, pike, turtles & heard owls at night! Everything wanted is here! Book it!"
