“I am so glad we booked Reef to finish off our Sri Lankan holiday - it was absolutely perfect from the huge, luxurious suites to the exceptional service and food. Dino and team could not do enough for us, but it was never over the top - we just felt well hosted by the entire team. Worth every penny to stay in such a secluded space on a beautiful coastline - we saw more cows on the unspoilt beach than people and you get a beautiful western sunset from Reef.”

“Overall, the hotel has great potential, but unfortunately, it is completely untapped. The hotel has two advantages: a large pool with an ocean view and all rooms offering ocean views—of course, the higher the floor, the better the view. And that’s where the positives end. There is no service at the hotel whatsoever. Rooms are not ready on time for check-in. Contrary to the descriptions, there is no bar at the hotel. Due to off season there was not much going on so we had the full attention of the staff, we even once got a whole sri lankan curry for lunch for free and it was delicious.
