“Perfect location for pretty much everything in Brașov. Check in process was easy and the staff member was lovely. Our room was ridiculously hot when we got there, every radiator was on, so had to sit with the door open to get rid of the heat. There was no safe in the room which is my only real negative thing. Breakfast was good, lots of choice, no english breakfast tea though which was a shame, and strange choice of juices (grapefruit and peach) no orange or apple. We would stay there again if……

“We stayed in the Avantgard apartment and while the location was great; right in the centre of the old town, within walking distance to many cafes, restaurants and shops, the apartment did have a few issues. “The apartment itself was amazing, great view, clean and tidy. I had to ask 3 times for a roll out bed before we arrived as although the booking always for 2 adults and 2 kids, we had a 14 year old girls and 8 year old boy so sharing a double sofa bed wasn’t appropriate. The neighbourhood it sits in doesn’t have much around. It’s a little way away from the centre which we didn’t mind when we booked. The issue we did have was that a lot of Ubers refused to take us anywhere as there was 4 of us.……

"Overall, this hotel is quite good. The room is spacious, and the breakfast is also nice. We checked in late at night on March 20 due to a flight delay. The gentleman at the front desk that night was very kind and gave us Room 232. However, the room was extremely hot—32°C—and our child cried all night because of the heat. The next morning, March 21, I adjusted the temperature to 24°C. But when we returned in the evening, the room was still 32°C and very uncomfortable. I called the front desk to ask if someone could check whether there was an issue with the air conditioning. The gentleman working that night was quite rude and said no one could help, and that the entire hotel was at the same temperature. We found this very hard to understand, so we requested a room change. Eventually, we were given Room 513, where the temperature was normal and we were finally able to sleep properly. We hope the hotel can fix the air conditioning in Room 232. Additionally, we found a mobile phone in the safe in Room 232, which was likely left behind by a previous guest. I handed it over to the front desk. If you see this message, you may want to contact the hotel."
