One very confusing experience is they never mentioned an actual couple lives on-site and are the hosts. They came by when we got there and were very kind and accommodating. "Very relaxing , quiet and zen hotel. Room was beautiful and food was great everywhere including the breakfast buffet. I think the best part of the hotel is the beach access (sun beds included in the price). The only thing is staff could provide higher quality service for the price - they provided conflicting information about the resort facilities at points and didn’t bend over backward to offer transportation to restaurants/spa across the highway; and you have to specifically request them to pick you up at your villa otherwise you have to walk 5-10 minutes to the front lobby to catch the shuttle. We also asked them to book a restaurant for us and they said they were working on it and just never gave us a call back. Also note that you must make restaurant reservations in advance of your stay. There are 2 different hotel locations so the restaurants and rooms/spa are spread out between the two and you need to take the shuttle to get across the highway to the other location."

"Nice hotel with parking - compact rooms but functional. The restaurant is a true hidden gem and is undersold! The restaurant was the best meal we had in Portugal. The à la carte menu is well worth trying and the staff are so incredibly helpful. Generous portions - Michelin style presentation and absolutely delicious flavours. We wish we could go again. The breakfast buffet is also great! The underground parking us helpful and we enjoyed the spa. All in all a great stay."
