"This pousada is not fit to receive guests. The staff did what they could. There were bed bugs on both beds. The owner tried to place another guest during my last two days or else they would charged me R$2000 extra. The level of greed is unbelievable. "Everything was great. From the hosts Douglas and his mother were amazing. Perfect location. Everything is walkable or 10 minutes by buggy. The included breakfast was prepared fresh to order by the chef. We were extremely happy with our experience here. The people are so friendly and welcoming. "If you're looking around at the many cute pousadas you can stop now! Mar em mim is as good as it gets. Its situated just out of town a 6 minute descent to praia do americano which I am guessing is one of the least visited beaches on the island, meaning you're likely to be almost alone on it anytime you'd like. It is so quiet and peaceful, and getting to town is very easy with either the bus or taxi system, and we did not regret not staying in centro. It is very close to praias cacimba, Sancho, baia do porcos (we walked to all 3). The staff is lovely and super helpful and will make you feel at ease your whole stay, they will help you plan anything you want to do stress free. Kimberlly was especially knowledgeable and helpful to us. The breakfast is delicious and has many options available right when you get up. There are not many total rooms and they are perfectly situated for privacy and an incredible ocean view. They even made one of us an unexpected birthday treat. Very reasonable price for what you get for Noronha. Overall one of the BEST hotel experiences I have ever had and make enjoying Noronha even easier!!"

"This is the place to stay if you are looking for understanded comfort. The vibe is wonderful and the staff are perfectly attentive and helpful without being intrusive. They make all sorts of requests happen. Any challenges (a previous guest did not check out in time in my case), were handled very well. I do suggest that the swimming pool is cleaned a bit better, but it was otherwise as lovely as the rest of the property. I wish I could have stayed longer. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to slow their pace and enjoy this spectacular island. Thank you, Pousada Ze Maria"
