Both apartments were well equipped with everything we needed and then some. They were very clean and everything was in working order. This location is right by a bus stop where a local shuttle can be taken to various locations around Praiano. The view from the patio area is absolutely beautiful. This neighborhood was quiet and very peaceful. The host whose name is Domenico was very responsive whenever I had any questions. He provides excellent information including tips and links to the surrounding area and its offerings. We highly recommend the Golden Vaults!

Almalfi Coast House

My friends and I initially booked this place because of the view of the Almalfi Coast, number of rooms and bathrooms. We saw all the photos and they were exactly how it is seen. Domenico the host is very helpful answering all questions and gives us information about the place , recommendations and arranged transportation. You can also communicate with him very quickly. We had a total of 9 people which fit perfectly with 2 flats. It was spacious and love that we had separate kitchens , washers and 4 bathrooms. Only issue was walking up and down the stairs in the town. Most places are walkable. I do recommend this for families and groups.

Family in Praiano

From the exceptional communication with Domenico to all the assistance with transportation, the fabulous boat ride, to dining on the patio with the fabulous views it is a wonderful stay to remember. The house accommodated the 7 of us perfectly. The steps and steep hills were a challenge for us but by using transport to the marina, taxi's and restaurant shuttles home we managed. And the views were gorgeous! Thank you for making this part of our Italian vacation so perfect.

Stunning View and Beautiful Villa

What an amazing property! Domenico was a perfect owner/manager. I had numerous questions for him before I arrived and he was always friendly, helpful and made great arrangements (driver, boats, restaurant reservations). After arriving we continued to have questions and Domenico was always available with friendly solutions. The apartment/house is much nicer than imagined before arriving. Everything is new and done with great taste and quality. The floors, cabinetry and furniture is all perfectly clean and beautiful. The veranda blew us away with a lovely ceramic table overlooking the incredible Amalfi Coast. Everything works perfectly (because everything is new and up to date) from the kitchen appliances to the wifi to the TV entertainment systems. One night we locked ourselves out of the apartment and Domenico told us how to get a new key from the lockbox. The house sits high on the hill so the views are spectacular. Also, it’s very quiet here so we slept wonderfully. Everything on the Amalfi Coast is up and down so you have to be fit to walk up and down but Domenico uses a great driver named Michele who is available for excursions. Come here knowing that you’ll have great support from Domenico and knowing that the house is beautiful, freshly renovated and in a beautiful location. Many thanks to Domenico for this great stay and for taking great care of us.

Great stay at Golden Vaults but very high up!

Spent 6 days at this property from August 13 - 19 and used both apartments. We were 2 families travelling together and the space was perfect for us. Another great feature of the property is the host Domenico who was wonderful and very responsive. The house itself is wonderful. Very modern, well furnished, great amenities. We found all the kitchen tools we needed and were able to prepare meals with ease. We loved eating on the terrace and the extendable canopy was great to keep shade. The a/c was wonderful and the wifi was not super strong but totally sufficient. The showers were amazing with wonderful water pressure. The bottom apartment had a lot of ants but bug spray was provided so after we sprayed they stayed away. We kept all the food in the top apartments and did all the meal preparation there and we did not see any ants, only on the lower level. There is no parking on the property so we got lucky and found free street parking but we did not move the car our entire stay because we were afraid we wouldn't find another spot. If you plan to drive, you may want to find a house with onsite parking. Location of the property is not great, especially with children or people with mobility issues. It was not very clear how far up it is on the listing but it is directly beside the entrance to the path of the Gods! It's HIGH and not very convenient to go shopping or go into town. Taxi's are unreliable and very expensive. We relied heavily on the bus but it was not ideal. It was extremely difficult to walk down and up the stairs everyday to get groceries. The restaurants are also very far away. Taxis were always busy and they were very expensive for even the shortest rides so we did not eat out often. Thank goodness for the restaurant Che Bonta with their food delivery! Despite the location we made the most of our time there and enjoyed our stay in Amalfi.

Superbe !

Nous avons bénéficié des deux appartements, ils sont spacieux, très propres et confortables, les cuisines sont très bien équipées, les chambres sont grandes et il y a la climatisation dans toutes les pièces. Et surtout, cette vue splendide, elle est magnifique à toute heure de la journée ! Domenico est extrêmement gentil et serviable, il fait tout pour rendre votre séjour agréable. De bons conseils, de bonnes adresses, il peut tout réserver pour vous, de la voiture aux traversées en bateau, il est vraiment très arrangeant. Praiano est un joli village, proche de tout, mais au calme, ce qui est appréciable après la frénésie d’Amalfi ou Positano. Les appartements ont un autre grand atout, c’est la possibilité de se garer dans la rue et de n’avoir que 6 ou 8 marches à gravir pour y arriver, ce qui est très rare dans la région.

Our Family Italy Trip

If we could give this location 10 stars we would in a heartbeat. Our family of 6 were able to rent the upper and lower apartments, and it was just as presented. They were extremely clean, beautifully furnished with modern bathrooms. The kitchen was stocked with all necessary items, pans, pots, dishes and utensils. We ate in 2 nights, and the view of the sea from the balcony table and chairs was amazing, just like a postcard. Very quiet area, not as touristy as Positano or Amalfi. We were able to park our rental car nearby and had very few steps to our apartments, which is very important as there can be a lot of steps to other properties. The home was everything as pictured plus more. Our host Domenico provided information about nearby restaurant, shops and even provided us a driver to take us back home after our dinner. The views and amenities made for a unforgettable stay on the Amalfi coast. We would recommended this place in a heartbeat.

Villa in paradise!

This villa was amazing. The location, the views, the host, the amenities. Praiano was a littler quieter than the neighboring towns, which we loved. Great kitchens for cooking meals in. Beautiful views from the top terrace where we ate several meals on. Bedrooms and living areas are spacious. Domenico was a terrific host. We would rebook this villa for certain. Perfetto!!!

So spacious and relaxing

Our family of 5 had an amazing time at the Golden Vaults home! It was exactly as shown online and the host was very accommodating. He gave us lots of useful local info. Riding the local bus that loops around Praiano was the best way to travel in the city and the bus stop is right next to the house. The view is great from the balcony and our stay was quiet and relaxing. It’s also not far from the entrance to Path of the Gods. We did a private boat tour to Isle of Capri that was amazing and would highly recommend with free taxi ride back to the house. We had a rental car and got free parking close by. The home is beautiful and there was plenty of space for our family. The restaurants in Praiano are good. Would definitely stay at the Golden Vaults again. Also would stay in Praiano again. We found it much less congested and overrun with tourists than nearby Amalfi and Positano. Wonderful vacation!!

Beautiful View of Amalfi Coast

Praiano was the perfect location for our stay on the Amalfi Coast. It was away from the crowds and was great for 4 couples. Not only were the accommodations very modern and clean, the view from the upstairs terrace was amazing! Domenico was a wonderful host and assisted us throughout the entire process from connecting us with drivers to recommending other services in the area. I would highly recommend the Golden Vaults to my friends and family!

The Golden Vault wonderful!!! We rented both floors for 4 couples and there was plenty of space.

The Golden Vault had great accommodations and a spectacular view. We had so much fun making Praiano our home for a week and really getting to know the lovely people who live there. Amore!

The Golden Vaults is a beautiful property. It has a gorgeous view, clean, well equipped with nice beds. My family and I enjoyed our five day stay there and getting to know the beautiful countryside of Italy.
