"Did not like that price was raised two times more for just one night due to an event in the area."

"Staff was a bit standoffish at check-in. We felt like we received a “less than” greeting since we’d booked through a 3rd party. The staff member told us due to “the type of booking,” we weren’t eligible to PAY for an early check in. This was at 2:30. Official check in was at 3. 30 minutes later when the magical time hit, we were informed of the $18 amenities fee. Fire pits were off due to high winds and the pool was busy with college students who came and went while we were there. Grounds are beautiful and we enjoyed cornhole and the pool, but it seemed weird to pay to use all of it when restaurant customers and local students could do the same for free. I realized later that I’d left my sunglasses downstairs. When my husband went to the front desk to ask if they’d been turned in, the gentleman he asked shrugged his shoulders without even faking an effort to look for them and said “not to my knowledge.” The room was beautiful, the beds were comfy and the property was lovely….but we won’t be back because of the sub par service. We were so excited to stay there but were let down. "

"Room and property were disgusting smelled dirty ashes on the floor and tv stand bathroom was terrible and unsanitary. Could not even walk into the room without feeling nauseous. Pool had algae and moss cover was full of debris. Looked like a homeless camp. We immediately turned in our keys and left"

"The hotel is older and shows some wear and tear, but our room was good. It was clean and the A/C worked great. The staff was a bit overwhelmed when we checked in because of the concert in town and they were sold out. But they did have cold water bottles for us to have as we waited. Overall, it was good for the price."

"Staff was great, rooms clean! Parking was not the greatest if you are in a truck but worked with some Austin Powers moves."

"Rooms need major renovation work, front desk services was kind of rude, rooms were not ready at check in times and were trying to say my reservation was declined so I could re reserve and pay higher rates due to events happening on that day"
