1) Property still under construction.
2) Delayed checkin
3) Need to clearly describe that boat service gets cancelled or delayed on busy days.
4) That boat service is only up to Saraswati Ghat and from there need to take a human rowed boat to the Sangam area.
Pros:
1) Food was good.

Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service
We stayed at iskcon guest due to the proximity to the ghats. Appreciate that we were staying around the busiest period. However the service was terrible and you had to ask for everything at least 3 times before anything happened. For instance, we had no towels until day 2 of our stay. Considering that the guest house were happy to charge over 4 times normal rates for the stay over the period of kimbh mela, it is not unreasonable for customers to exoect at least a basic standard of service.

A work in progress.
The place is still under construction and it looks it in some places. There is still plastic covering on some fixtures in the room and bathroom, and the remnants of it, not fully removed from some chairs and door handles. Very sloppy and rushed looking. It’s comfortable but much more spartan that the images online would have you believe — all are virtually staged images, not the actual rooms at all. Mattress was quite firm — which I like, others may not. Bedding itself of high quality. Good water pressure in shower, with ample hot water. WiFi in the rooms (I was on the second floor) is, charitably, spotty. Less charitable, unworkable as it goes down every few minutes and then doesn’t come back for several. Not sure if this is the service itself or that repeaters need to be set up throughout the building to extend the signal. Food on site was excellent. Staff I interacted with were all helpful. Discounting that all lodging prices are hugely inflated during Kumbh Mela, this price is still much too high for what you are getting. Billed as luxury, and looks it from the images on booking sites, however it is at least two grades down from this, at least while under construction. This is all a good example of over-promising and under-delivering. Again, food was excellent, atmosphere peaceful, and staff helpful. But facilities are most definitely a work in progress at the moment.
I really tried to like this hotel, especially for the name ISKCON. However, the rooms are still under construction, no towels many days, sink's pipes were leaking all over bathroom floor, tub's design did not drain water properly in shower, so it ran all over bathroom floor, flooding it each time. Then with no towels, it's hard to keep the floor clean due to standing water. I complained, but most of the staff were very young, inexperienced or just said, "okay, thanks sir." Not sure if I would recommend. The good part is that it is beautifully placed on the Yamuna River. The food was average and the guys who man the Govinda's restaurant are not very polite. I tried to like this hotel, but in all, I would think twice before doing it again.

Also had to work remote
Staff in general were helpful
One staff outshone all, Amitesh, responsive and tried to resolve all issues
No toilet paper
No place to hang towels
No hangers
No coffee or tea in room
Water one day and after you had to pay
Food was very ordinary
Not enough for guests
Hotel is new so room condit very nice but no other facilities like normal hotels have. Food service for breakfast need lots and lots of attention as hotel it’s very bad rating but if you consider religious place it’s fine. But it’s not like hotel
