“First, there is no where to put Heat Sensitive items several hours before check in. I wasn’t in the position to pay and extra 40.00 for 1 hr early check in, that started me not feeling welcome. Next when I did check in, the room looked like they hadn’t cleaned and dusted, I spilled some water on the floor, cleaned it up with one of the white wash cloths towels and it was black from the floor. “We had an amazing stay. Very peaceful. Cabin was clean and stayed pretty warm. It was nice not to have WiFi or cell service so we could escape. The stairs are pretty steep going up to the rooms, we almost fell a few times. Only down side was there was a water delivery at 9am the day we were leaving that made it difficult for us to load up our vehicle. ”

“The pool was closed and I was not aware that it would be before we booked, so that was disappointing. We were actually moved to a different space which looked nothing like the listing on expedia. The space was clean and had all the things we needed at the time. When we had a problem with the coffees maker the property owner was very quick to respond and fix it. He was also just very friendly and welcoming and made great suggestions for activities for us to do on our vacation.”

“Oh my goodness where do I start. From the minute you step on the porch the view takes your breathe away. We purposely grilled and had dinner there just to enjoy the view. The decor makes you feel like you’ve gone back in time. We had so much fun just walking room to room and taking in all the historical antiques and pictures. This is the one place on my trip I wish I could go back if for just an hour and do art on that terrace with the view. A++++++++”

"The toilet in our room is almost not working, the shower head is leaking, and the soundproofing is very poor. We were also assigned a room next to the laundry room, and the noise from the machines made it impossible for my family to sleep after a full day of driving. When I went to the front desk to ask if it would be possible to change rooms if one became available, the male staff member was very impatient and his attitude made us feel very uncomfortable during our stay."
