Lovely location but overpriced, worn out and too hot

First day the shower leaked onto the bed underneath and we had to move all the bedding outside to dry out for 24 hours and the room smelt damp for the rest of the stay. Management responded quickly to their credit and a plumber was out the next day (which was a weekend). All the shower drains were clogged - a reflection on the quality of the cleaners more than the quality of the bathrooms which were high standard. The middle floor which is the "heart" of the house (Kitchen, lounge, dining) was however unbearably hot with no air-conditioning or cross breeze. Only 2 bags were left for the kitchen tidy (which was double sided so enough for one change) and there was only 4 dishwasher pellets - for the number of guests the house caters for this was insufficient - given peak holiday rates this felt a bit stingy. The lounge has seen better days and was threadbare and fraying. The remotes for the TV and DVD were either flat or had no batteries. The house itself is lovely, view gorgeous, bird life spectacular - but it just fell short for the price we paid.

Outstanding location, just a scenic stroll to the waters edge and nearby village.

Superbly located in a leafy position perched high looking over the water. Just a short drive to surf beach and other local sights. The property has everything you could ask for to enjoy a weekend away with friends or family.

A pleasant stay

We had a pleasant stay at the holiday house. The location is lovely and the house is spacious. There are a few details that could have been better but overall we're happy with it. Thank you.

Lovely location & lovely house.

The house is beautifully designed, with some amazing artwork. Set in a stunning location, sitting high amongst the trees with water views, this was the perfect place for our impromptu getaway.

Stylish but comfortable with great views

We too arrived during a heatwave and retreated to the pleasant coolth of the lower floor. Lovely house with great views and location. Great deck area for relaxing and good vantage point to view the boats and birdlife. Really enjoyed the proximity to the water and walking track. The earlier check-in and later checkout were much appreciated . BYO soap & coffee.

Nice and modern

We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay. The house is modern, lots if living space, kitchen is well equiped, nice water views, bbq and deck came in handy. My only suggestion would be that a air conditioner be installed on the main living room/kitchen area (2nd level). It got really hot inside during the day when the temp was about 32C. But we'd def come back again.

Excellant place to stay

Stayed for 3 days and so relaxing. Would return. Unassuming house from outside but once you enter, the decor and furnishings are of high quality, its spacious, Kitchen very well equipped , lovely outlook. Loved the large deck and BBQ area. Lots of native birds will come visit.
