Lovely stay

We had a lovely time, it was special being right on the beach. The house is very comfortable and we had everything and more that we needed. Branko is a very attentive host who wants to make sure you’re having a nice time. If you’re after peace and quiet, Frogmouth cottage at Primrose Sands is the place to be! Would love to stay again sometime.

Beautiful house on the beach

Perfect holiday location. House was amazing and had everything we needed. It was nice to listen to the waves at night and waking up to the views of the beach and hills. Friendly neighbourhood and owners are perfect hosts. Would definitely stay at this property again.

Relaxing stay

A great week in a quiet location. Some mornings the still waters in that part of the beach allowed us to use the supplied kayaks to enjoy a quick paddle before setting off for that day's adventure.

Lovely property, a little old but had all the conveniences you would expect. Very comfortable and very good amenities. And the view - wow! Would definitely stay here again.

We were lucky enough to spend Christmas at Frogmouth Cottage. It was a wonderful place to start our Tassie trip and really unwind. It’s such a comfortable house in a beautiful part of the world. Being able to walk straight out the door onto the beach is a real treat. Thank you Branko and Ivanka.

Such an amazing location to stay with spectacular 180 degree views from the house and close enough to lots of great places to visit- this is our 2nd time staying at Primrose Sands and we would love to return again & again

Lazy days on the beach

Great experience and wonderful location. The house has everything you need for a relaxing beach holiday. Beach is perfect for children to swim and kayak in. Communication with hosts was excellent. Can’t wait to come back.

Stunning, refreshing, didn't want to leave

Wonderful 4 night stay with two young children, stunning views, amazing access to beach, private beach house. Loved sunrise & sunset kayaking, bird watching, jumping in waves, huge movie collection, high quality lounge & appliances. Owners gave warm welcome and responsive to questions. Highly recommended, and we'd love to return!

Perfect place on the beach

The cottage totally lives up to previous reviews. Really convenient to get to but feels like a retreat once you are there. Appliances are all really good especially oven and hob. Fire is really easy to use and just a totally great place to stay. Location ideal for the tasman peninsula etc. A very relaxing stay.

Perfect Location

Our stay at Frogmouth Cottage was the perfect starts to our Tasmanian holiday. The views were gorgeous. Our favourite part of the day was sitting in front of the fireplace with a cuppa watching the sunset. Already planning on going back when weather is warmer. It was a great location, not to far from any towns, this made it easy to do day trips.

A perfect property for a family holiday

We loved staying in Branko and Ivanka’s lovely house. It has everything required for a great break - beautiful views and location for adults and a brilliant range of toys for indoors and the beach for the kids. Best of all we got to try sea kayaking and fishing (using the equipment provided) which our boys had wanted to try for a long time. I could not recommend this house more highly - you can’t fail to have a great time here.

Awesome retreat

Lived up to its description. A perfect spot to relax, enjoy the beautiful beach, read, play games, go for walks. Impeccable home with all the amenities. Will come back again. The only drawback is that it is 30 minutes from a grocery store so you have to remember to stock up when you go. But once you are there you don’t want to leave to go to town! Excellent hosts

Gem on the beach

A superb ‘get away from the world’ for Frogmouth Cottage. The breezes, flowers, and chirping birds...and of course, the clean bay waters are so welcome as one tries to depart from the urban hustle. Other than some of the windows need to be repaired (to open)....strongly recommend this Cottage. Will come back all the way from Texas.
