Great stay in Prince Edward County
Denise is a friendly and welcoming host. The suite is spacious and tastefully decorated, with private bath. We enjoyed our excellent breakfasts on the patio overlooking the beautiful back yard. Perfect location for exploring Prince Edward County.

Excellent property and host! A great getaway weekend to enjoy some wine and vinegar tastings. Location is great! Close to many wineries within a 20 minute vehicle ride. Recommend dinner and entertainment at The Barley Room Pub and Whiskey Wings at the County Canteen.. Thanks Denise for being such a great host and providing a good night sleep!

Great Trip to PEC
Our hostess Denise was very warm and welcoming. She went out of her way to make sure our stay was comfortable. She was a great help in suggesting sites to see and restaurants to try. None were a disappointment. Our room was very clean and comfortable. After a long day of sightseeing, it was nice to come back and take a quick and refreshing swim before getting ready for dinner. Thoroughly enjoyed our continental breakfast. Fresh and homemade items. Bloomfield is central to many of the surrounding attractions. There were a number of quaint shops in the town that I enjoyed walking through. Highly recommend this property.

My husband and I spend a week end in Prince Edward County in July and felt at home instantly after meeting Denise, she is l more than a perfect Host, she is a wise women sharing her love of peoples and places . We felt her passion for the area and the attention of using local and home made product . Would definitely stay with Denise again!

Lovely Stay
Denise was a very thoughtful and welcoming host! My husband and I spent our wedding night here and enjoyed the pool in the backyard as well as the included breakfast! The place was very clean and we enjoyed the A/C. We had our own bathroom, space in the fridge and Denise also provided extra toiletries (we forgot shaving cream and she saved the day)! Highly recommend :)

Great stay!
We had a lovely time at Denise’s bed and breakfast. We cycled in, and it was no sweat biking around the county and to Picton to explore! Delicious breakfast each morning with some tasty homemade baked goods. And to top it off, a lovely pool to cool down in. Denise was a great host!

My friend and I had the best stay! Great property and location. Denise is wonderful. She is so incredibly nice and really makes you feel at home. And the breakfast is amazing! She also keeps everything very clean. I highly recommend this B&B if you're going to PEC.

My friend and I had such a gorgeous weekend staying at this BNB. It is so central close distance to everything and has a great pool! Especially close to Slickers which is a must! Denise was absolutely lovely to stay with and was incredibly accommodating and made us feel so welcome. We will be back next year for sure! Thank you for a great stay Denise. Highly recommended!!!

Denise was fantastic to deal with. Her home is was exactly as advertised and in a great location. She is hospitable and gave us excellent information about spots to visit/eat in the area. Denise made the most incredible breakfast the next morning, keeping in mind some dietary restriction. All in all I would definitely stay there again.

Fun in Bloomfield
Denise was very accommodating and hospitable. The private ensuite upstairs with private bathroom are immaculately clean. The queen bed is comfortable. The living room on the main floor where there is TV with cable was available for us to see our favourite show in the evening. She gave us space in her refrigerator for our use. The highlight of our stay was she served us healthy breakfast every morning right at the deck overlooking nice view of the pool and backyard. Among others, she served homemade fruitcakes and jams. Her place is 15 minutes away from sandbank beach (went there 2 consecutive days), 15 away from wineries and Saturday Wellington farmers market. Thank you Denise for hosting us.

In the heart of the county
Overall, it was a beautiful place to stay, the hostess, Dianne, was hospitable, and easy to talk to. She cooked us breakfast in the morning, with home made jams, and fresh muffins and croissants, and hard boiled eggs from a local chicken farm. She also offered us the family room to lounge in as well, there were games, tv, etc. The washroom was very impressive, and newly renovated with tile, granite counter, new tub and fresh towels. The bed was comfortable, but the pillows were inflatable, so if you are picky about the pillows, bring your own. Unfortunately, the pool was not open while we stayed, but that was because the weather has been so terrible lately. We were still able to enjoy delicious homemade ice cream from the shop next door in the beautiful backyard backed on to a pond.

Thank you, Sarah, for your review. I just want to make one correction for future renters. The pillows that are in the room are not inflatable pillows. They are hypoallergenic, quallofil pillows and because they are a soft pillow, I leave extra pillows in the room for added support if wanted. Denise

A wonderful winter stay in the county
Situated along the Loyalist Parkway, Denise’s B&B in Bloomfield was a conveniently located home base during our stay in the county. Restaurants are within walking distance and Picton is a short drive away for basic shopping needs. The room was private, spacious, and clean. The mattress was quite comfortable and the soaker tub was an added perk. Denise stocked the bathroom with basic toiletries, which was a thoughtful touch. Denise was friendly, communicative, and eager to help. She struck a perfect balance between making us feel welcome while also respecting our privacy. Her continental breakfast was always fresh, scrumptious, and filling. Highly recommended :)

An exceptionally pleasant stay!
My wife, Sandra, and I recently spent a most enjoyable night at the Yellow Roof B&B and look forward to the opportunity to return some day before too long. The facility was immaculately clean and well-equipped, the queen bed very comfortable, the private bathroom tastefully remodeled & functional, and the overall atmosphere welcoming. Our hostess, Denise, put us at ease right away with a brief conversation and , although we had to hurry out for most of the evening, she was up to greet us when we returned - and to continue the conversation. Breakfast was simple and tasty, featuring fresh farm eggs, yogurt, croissants & assorted breads, and delicious local homemade jams. We left Bloomfield well-rested and well-fed.

Fabulous B&B, we loved it!
Fabulous B&B, wonderfully decorated, did not disappoint. Host was very hospitable and accommodating to our needs. Nice guest room and beautiful bathroom, lovely areas on back deck for eating and relaxing, and very comfortable living room at our disposal. Lovely treed backyard with an enticing pool, which we hope to have time to use on our next summertime visit. We definitely look forward to returning to Prince Edward County and staying at this awesome B&B in Bloomfield again!

Very heart warming, quaint, clean and wonderful hospitality!!
We enjoyed our stay for three nights July14-17, 2017 at the Yellow Roof Inn. Denise our Innkeeper was warm, inviting and very accommodating!! We would definitely seek her out again if in the area. Close to all the shops and restaurants, we were able to walk to everything. The pool looked awesome, but did not have an opportunity to partake. Breakfast was delicious, many homemade items from scratch. Would recommend highly!!

This is a wonderful B&B with a great hostess, a saltwater pool, a nice breakfast and is a few steps from Bloomfield shopping and a quick drive to Sandbanks. Sometimes there is only time for a quick getaway and this B&B also gives the choice of one night as well!

Felt like staying with a good friend
Denise was an exceptional hostess and her home was tastefully and comfortably decorated. Our communications with her before arrival were helpful and any questions promptly answered. She was very accommodating of our later arrival. The accommodations were exactly as represented in the photographs, but more charming in person. We felt immediately welcome and as though we had come to stay with a friend. Denise was so very friendly and helpful. She made us feel at ease in her home. The accommodations were spotlessly clean and the bathroom gleaming, with a gentle breeze wafting the lace curtains at the window. The bed was comfortable and she had thoughtfully provided water on the bedside table and a couple of chocolates on the pillows. She also provided brochures and discounts for local attractions. The WiFi connections and upload speeds were good. The shower had better water pressure than our own at home and for those who prefer baths, there was a deep soaker tub and a heated towel rack available. Use of the pool was also available. The guest suite where we stayed was very private. We enjoyed chatting with our hostess over the continental breakfast, which included a bountiful selection of fresh fruit, breads, homemade jams, peanut butter, cream cheese, yogurt, boiled eggs, coffee, tea, juice and water. It was delicious and satisfying. We would definitely stay there again and have recommended it to our friends.
