Sealodge G4 is the perfect Sealodge Kauai condo for honeymoons, anniversaries, or other romantic occasions. With its expansive views of the sea, waves breaking, and lush green coastline visible from the large bedroom picture window, you won't even need to get out of the comfy king bed to admire the view. Spend a lazy morning in bed with the cooling tradewinds blowing over you, watching the boats go by or spotting for whales. Then make the brief mile and a half drive to the Princeville shopping center to pick up a poke bowl and some macadamia nut ice cream. If you're feeling energetic, take the brief but rather treacherous path to Sealodge beach... worth the effort for its privacy and seclusion. Finish the day with a brief ten minute drive to Hanalei for dinner and drinks at one of the numerous charming restaurants you'll find there. A perfect day in paradise.

Sealodge G4 has a private covered patio with panoramic oceanfront views all the way to the lighthouse. Inside, this end unit has been completely remodeled and boasts cool tile floors, granite counter tops, tasteful island decor, and upscale furnishings. The living room furniture is comfortable, the dining alcove with seating for 4 is in a corner framed by large picture windows with fabulous ocean views. Tempurpedic king size bed, sofa sleeper, sleeps 4. You'll find a full kitchen, full bathroom, free high speed wifi, washer and dryer. This Kauai vacation rental is your perfect home away from home.

Our Kauai vacation rentals at Sealodge are located at the end of a small quiet side road, with no through traffic, that ends at a dramatic ocean bluff. These Princeville vacation rentals face the ocean on their lanai side. A short, rather strenuous, hike brings you to the secluded Sealodge Beach. Shopping and dining are conveniently close, with the Princeville shopping center just a mile and a half away. The charming town of Hanalei, and the world famous Hanalei beaches, are a brief ten minute drive. Sealodge is comfortable, quiet, and island casual.

As with most homes on Kauai, this vacation rental is NOT air conditioned.

Although this home has internet, the speed and reliability cannot be guaranteed due to the remote location and the service being provided by a third-party.

The condo was clean and located in a quiet, safe neighborhood. Check-in was smooth and exactly as described, and we had no issues accessing the unit. It was great to have a washer and dryer in the unit, and the Wi-Fi was fast and reliable—one of the standout positives.Unfortunately, the unit needs significant attention and updates. The microwave was rusted, chipped, and smelled terrible. The shower controls were reversed (hot is cold, cold is hot). While the listing notes there’s no A/C, we were surprised by the total lack of airflow—even with windows open and the wind direction in our favor.The fridge/freezer took over 24 hours to cool, the oven never reached 425F, and the kitchen lacked many basic items we’re used to seeing in vacation rentals. Several lights didn’t work, and we had to purchase batteries for non-working remotes.The bed and pullout were both uncomfortable, and bedding/pillows felt worn and tired. The “bedroom” is separated by only a thin fabric pull-door with no handle or lock, so privacy is very limited. Bathroom towels were fine, and there was no mold, though we did notice occasional bugs.Outdoor gear was also in poor condition: beach chairs, fans, and patio furniture were all falling apart. One standing fan squeaked constantly.Parking was easy, and the host was responsive when we reached out about the pool closure (due to algae), which reopened the next day as promised.While this unit has potential with some investment and care, we would not

No better view around!

Princeville is a gem of a location, and this condo is situated high on a bluff above the ocean. Sunami concerns are not a problem here, (There was a warning while we were traveling, and I was pleasantly unconcerned!) Morning sunrise celebrated by roosters is delightful. The condo itself is aging a tad, and they have the window in the bedroom sealed shut. No ocean breeze to be heard or felt from there. But the view remains! You will definitely use the fan provided as it gets hot. We did experience a downpour, and the window is likely sealed to keep water out. The kitchen has what you will need, although the Teflon frying pan needs to be replaced. Lots of scratches. There is salt and we left some agave. No other items like olive oil or spices for cooking. The washer and dryer will be appreciated. They provide three packets of laundry soap. Explore the beach trail nearby! It is an adventure and one not for the faint of heart, especially after rain. That said, the beach is magical. Snorkeling supplies and chairs are waiting for a trip to another beach. Our favorite is Mahala'a where Gilligan's Island was filmed. Just make sure to watch for high tide as the river rolling to the beach can get rough to cross. Enjoy!

Great, quiet find in Princeville

My husband and I loved staying in this rental in Princeville. Well described, well equipped, and very comfortable. It was great to have access to beach chairs and umbrella, and the property around the rental was beautiful. We appreciated the quiet spot away from the hubbub. Highly recommend.

Ideal location in Kauai

Beautiful views of the ocean and the coast line. Convenient swimming pool right around the corner of the unit. Beach is a secluded gam, as long as it has not been raining as the path to it is steep and slippery. The apartment is comfy, the kitchen is well equipped, the bed is super comfortable, and the laundry is a welcome addition. There is no air conditioner, however provided fans are more than adequate. Truthfully, no air conditioner was needed in this location.

What an amazing find

I was looking for a trip for my girlfriend’s birthday and after a few hours of looking, this place popped out to me. I went with it and it was a really good find. The pictures don’t do the views justice, the place was clean and had everything we needed. Really enjoyed our stay, highly recommend this place.

Breezy beach condo with stunning views

We really enjoyed our stay here. We loved having a full view of the ocean and feeling the ocean breezes. This is an older, weathered condo with no AC, however the location is hard to beat. We were very comfortable with the ocean breeze, although we had the windows open the whole time. If you like a cold dark room with curtains drawn and AC cranked, then this isn’t for you. A short hike down a trail (.3 mi) takes you to a secluded beach only accessible to the property. Has a nice bay for swim/snorkel. The beach is sandy but the bay itself is rocky/coral. Can’t really ride any waves here, at least not in July. Condo is clean with plenty of towels and beach gear. We loved having a washer/dryer in the unit.

Worst experience ever!

It started off bad right off the bat. We arrived on a Sunday, so it was after hours. We had a long flight & just wanted to relax. It was smoking hot in there...no a/c, (which I knew, but the reviews said it was no problem bc of the breeze. However, all the windows were shut when we arrived. No preparation for guests arrival) the lanai screen door was broken with a huge gap at the top allowing bugs inside, & we couldn't figure out the wifi info (which I later realized was my fault...it was in my email, but I thought it was a link to get the info, not realizing that it was right under.) We contacted the emergency # (bc that's all we had) & she was not happy with us for calling. After several back & forths, she finally gave us the password to the wifi & said someone would contact us the next day about the door. Well, nobody did. My husband called & left a message. We still received no response. (In addition, before we ever arrived, I received a text that we were arriving several days before we had it booked. I called & left a message. No response.) So, after 2 days of nobody calling us, I sent a very firm email bc not only was the lanai door an issue, one of the lamps was not working, the hairdryer plug was broken & dangerous, the housekeeper had left a wet, dirty rag on one of the chair cushions, & to top it off, the smoke detector was broken. Good luck with the shower knob. It Is backwards. After 4 days, they finally fixed things after I threatened to report them.

Our time at the condo was the highlight of the trip, so relaxing. We saw whales and dolphins from our lanai soon after we arrived. Incredible ocean views. Great kitchen. We loved the ocean view and hearing the waves crashing from comfy king-sized bed. We bbq’d almost every night. A perfect vacation. Thank you!

Great spot in Princeville

This property tuned out to be perfect for our trip to Kauai. The check in and information was clear. The site was gorgeous with an incredible view from both the bedroom and the main living room. The amenities were as described and we loved small touches such as the closet with beach chairs for use and beach towels- how thoughtful. We liked having a washer and drier as we did return muddy from hikes and kayaking - I had thoughtour stay was so short (4 days) that we likely did not need to do laundry but turned out to be an incredible asset not to pack those muddy clothes for the return flights. We also walked to the property beach where we watched the waves while a baby seal napped and snored away at the farther end of the beach- where else can you do that? Close to restaurants for the nights we did not wish to cook. Would happily stay again!

Great view - stinky bed

The view was great and we spotted several whale water spouts in the ocean, seen from the dinning table! The sheets and pillow cases were clean but the bedspread, pillow and mattress had had a horrible stench of body odor! A true barbarian had stayed there who needed to be introduced to soap and water. We reported the situation to management but nothing was done. Maybe bring a can of Lysol spray with you!

Amazing sunrises

We stayed for our honeymoon and we were not dissapointed! Beautiful beach view right from our king size bed and breathtaking sunrises from just outside our back lawn. We wanted to be close to the Kalalau trail and we loved this location. Close to many amazing beaches and cute little towns. We grealty appreciated the additional items including the cooler, beach towels and beach chairs. The kitchen was well equiped for many home cooked meals. And the washer and dryer were a must for our 2 week stay. The groundskeeper, Zach, offered amazing nearby attraction tips. Overall, such a pleasant stay!

Very much enjoyed our stay in this unit. Foremost, the view is spectacular both from the main room and the bedroom! There is green space and then an immediate drop-off to the ocean. The unit is tastefully decorated. The unit is clean and well maintained. The bed is comfortable. The grounds are very nice. And again, what a view!!
