“We absolutely loved our stay at the Custer Rambler! The location couldn’t have been better, right on the main street in Custer, making it easy to walk to restaurants, shops, and the grocery store directly across the street. The space is decorated with fun Johnny Cash-themed décor that gives it so much personality. Everything was spotless when we arrived, and both the bed and the couch were incredibly comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the host was excellent with……

“The property was beautiful, clean and well maintained. The communication needs improvement as we messaged the host with questions, but didn’t get answers before we left. The property description listed a washer and dryer but the facilities were locked. You needed to contact the host for a code after you paid an additional fee (not mentioned in the description). However, we were willing to do that, but she never got back to us. We also contacted her about changing our reservation date, but we……

“The cabinets and drawers had mice poop and smelled of urine. We had to remove all the dishes from the cabinet and wash. In the kitchen was an old stove that was being stored. The stove was removed on day two or three of our stay. The shower handle was broken. The linens are not fresh. Down at the lake in the pavilion there was trash left by another camper. We were there for 5 days and this was never cleaned up. I would not recommend this place to stay.”
