“Lovely old world cottage: with really thick walls and windows, low ceilings and quirky floorbords - nice to be living in history. Parking in public car park easy and convenient. would have been useful to have washing up liquid (not everyone wants to use the dishwasher); and also cling film and tin foil. House reeked of air freshener all the time, despite opening windows wide. House could benefit from some deep carpet cleaning Bins outside front window made it difficult to park when……

“Fantastic location. Really clean, comfortable flat with a parking space. Breakfast outside every morning and stunning views!”

“Very comfortable and clean cottage with everything we needed. We loved the view from the main bedroom and the bright, spacious living room. It is a very steep climb up from the village, but worth it to have the parking space and views!”

“We had a wonderful week in Pennant. It was light and airy and the big plus was the view of the harbour and estuary. The books were interesting. The paintings and placemats were appreciated. A few improvements needed...we both hit our head on the air-extractor over the hob but you probably can’t remedy that. The shower was extremely slow to drain, the clothes washer was noisy, and there was no spare black bin bag to help us pack up, although the instructions said we should use the bags provided.……

“Property was well laid out had everything you needed. Good location for Town with off road parking.”

“Penny Cottage provided a specious, yet very cosy stay, with excellent, easy access to the Camel Trail for great walks and a complete break in nature. We would definitely recommend!”

“The best accessible accommodation I’ve ever stayed in !! The Stables is spotless clean throughout, all level access, outside is a lovely patio area with a table and chairs, to the side of the property is the hot tub and room for your own sun lounger’s should you want to bring them it’s a nice sun trap Thr kitchen it very well equipped and modern and a nice living area, the bedroom is very large with plenty of space for wheelchair access, bedside tables , dressing table and wardrobe and also a……

“Really enjoyed our stay at Harbour Lights. Amazing location overlooking the beach and harbour. Our favourite thing was to take the short walk down to the beach, swim in the sea and then back to the hot tub... magical! Also enjoyed the short stroll into Charlestown to the Pier House and many restaurants around the harbour (Charlestown Fish, Dough Buoys, HBQ are all good). Then there is the Coastal Path which goes from outside the property. Going east up the hill is a great walk, but going west……

“A very comfortable, well appointed place to stay with wonderful views of the river. Wadebridge is a perfect place to be able to get to many places around the county and a bonus is a bus stop right outside the apartment!”

“one of the best self catering i have stayed at on the outskirts of Bodmin for a Winter break this is an ideal please for touring Cornwall, for anyone wanting to set up base to sea fish or fishing in general i have one minor gripe No central heating in the property, but there are electric radiators and extra blow heaters There is a log burner that does kick out a lot of warmth, for the very cold nights, I will return later in the year”

“A clean and well-appointed cottage in lovely estate gardens. However the VRBO listing is wrong- there is no ensuite for the twin bedroom and certainly not three bathrooms. This was very disappointing.”

“Helen and Paul must be two of the nicest and kindest hosts we've met. After a 6 hour drive, to arrive to a cream tea laid out in the apartment was truly a lovely touch. One of the cleanest places we've ever stayed, they'd literally thought of everything you could need. You name it, it was there, potato peeler, sieve, cling film, foil the works. Helen even asked me what milk we drink and made sure there was a pint of semi skimmed in the fridge on arrival.. Thanks Helen. The bed and the sofa were……
