「Porto fuori dal mondo, assolutamente originale per gli standard italiani. Esattamente quello che cercavo. Una struttura quasi irraggiungibile immersa nel verde con persone estremamente accoglienti e spontanee. Il clima della casa era veramente molto caldo, struttura antica, in sasso con pavimentazione in legno, stufa a legna e camino. Un grazie caloroso a chi ci ospitato e che abbiamo trovato casualmente navigando. 」

「We had a lovely holiday (family with 5 kids, age 11 to 23), peaceful and quiet and with the option to go out for a good meal nearby. Culture and swimming to be found with a car ride of 20 min, a beautiful mountain lake for swimming and nice little towns. Lucca and other more touristic places are a bit further, still good to do by car. The house and garden are spacious with all you need for a relaxing holiday. Nice addition is the separate part of the house which contains a bedroom, a bathroom...

「Mooie woning, mooie spullen die aantiek aandoen en prachtig zijn, mooi landschap eromheen en veel ruimte. Alleen de wifi leverde af en toe wat problemen op, maar Mr. Giulio (de eigenaar) snelde echt met een oplossing en een snellere verbinding proberen te bewerkstelligen. Echt een aanrader dit huis.」

「The house is lovely with some fine views across the surrounding hills.- spacious and cool inside even on very hot days. We really enjoyed staying in Santa Maria del Giudice - an attractive village with several good places to eat (very good pizzas from Mastro Ciliegia) and a good food shop with lovely focaccia and Gorgonzola dolce amongst other things. We were lucky to be there for Fer Agosto, a great celebration in the village with good food and wine served by young helpers. We were made very...
