"We stayed seven days at Casa Establo. As the name indicates the theme of this boutique hotel is that of a horse stable with every room having the name of a winning race horse. Upon arrival we were attended by Francisco, the owner. He told us that we were a bit early-which we knew, but he checked and said our room will be ready in about 10 minutes. And he added, in the meantime I will show you what you can explore around Pucon. The hotel is well situated, overlooking Lake Villarrica and about ten minutes of Pucon. The rooms are large and comfortable. A very good breakfast with cereal, fruit and pastries is provided every morning. The next morning we met Lina his wife who also recommended some sightseeing, some restaurants and what termal baths to visit. Every evening after dinner we ask for tea and and we were given a tray with herbal teas that we took to our room, and this was for free. We loved interacting with Francisco and Lina. Every morning before breakfast we gave them our feedback of the places we visited and they added some fine tuning to our plan for the day. And we mustn’t forget their gorgeous huge white dog that ‘guards’ the hotel. In summary, great hotel, very friendly owners and staff and excellent value for money. Strongly recommended."

"The staff was professional and friendly, and even consulted me with excursions. The breakfast was relatively generous. The place is really close to the main street so there are a lot of restaurants, bars and places to go out nearby."

"Staff is very supportive. The breakfast is organized by shifts. The rooms were clean, with new towels every day. There's free parking and the hotel is close to downtown, just few minutes walk. Very nice experience "

"Clean room. Rustic setting with beautiful surroundings. Great water pressure in the hotel portion. Staff responded promptly to WhatsApp messages. Not too far (30 minutes drive) from the town of Pucon. I would have liked to have had access to a kettle to make my own coffee and tea in my hotel room (they had these in the cabins) and an iron to press my own clothing as this was a wedding event. I did use the hotel laundry services to re: press my suit and shirt and they did a great job for $10. The daily breakfast was wonderful and gave us a great start to our day. We did eat one meal there outside of breakfast but it definitely was not as good as the food cooked for the evening of the wedding. We're just not sure if the wedding food was cooked by outside vendors. All we saw was someone BBQing meats, which were delicious. So in summary, if you are backpacking or like to stay in a more remote and rustic location, this would be perfect for you. There are cabins, hot tubs and a pool so it would be great for large groups. The grounds are beautiful and the cows and llamas gave everyone a giggle. If you need modern conveniences, faster WiFi, in room conveniences then maybe staying at a different location would be better for you. "

"Beautiful setting, gracious hosts, wonderful cabaña. We stayed two nights and would have stayed longer but they are popular in summer. We chose a hot tub session which requires a multi hour setup and additional charge. The location is remote and necessitates a car. "
