The bungalow is large with comfortable bed and a functional AC. It is a great value for money. The owner helped us with being flexible in our stay date due to an incident that helped us a lot. Thanks

The Corcovado Lodge was clean, well appointed and waterfront with a swimable beach and excellent views of Golfo Dulce. The most outstanding surprise was the friendliness and efficiency of the staff under the leadership of owner Thomas. We will definitely be making our new accommodation destination the Corcovado Lodge in Puerto Jimenez.

Corcovado lodge was one of the most amazing place we have ever been to and we travel a lot ! The owner’s hospitality, the small quiet place that had so much privacy and tranquility and the location on this nearly private beach had us feel that we are on our own island even though it’s part of a small beach town. The lovely sandy beach and all the wildlife around were all bonus. We will definitely come again. Don’t forget to ask for a boat tour to see dolphins and for some snorkeling.

Very friendly place, on the shoreline but not a swimming place, however would be good for paddle boarding or kayak. Maps was confused some and there is virtually no signage directing you to the property

Relaxing Spot
We enjoyed our stay. The staff was friendly and helpful. The grounds were spacious and lovely. The room was spacious and clean. Our main concern was the morning noise from the parking lot. We were awakened about 5:00 every day. The beach, birds and kayaking were great.

Excellent location - 1 min walking distance from swimmable water. That’s the only plus. No customer service, no cleaning, terrible breakfast for extra $7.00. The rooms are nice but surroundings around the bungalows are dirty and unpleasant.

Beautiful location and decent rooms. Our group of 5 shared one of the group houses. It was clean and reasonably comfortable. Our only unmet need was that there weren't any lights upstairs and there weren't enough tables/chairs to place things for that many people. But the location can't be beat--the grounds are beautiful, full of birds, next to town, near trails, and adjacent to the swimmable gulf beach. The owner was also incredibly helpful. We would have liked if there was a restaurant or bar on-site but there is a solid outdoor restaurant a short walk away.

We had a great time at Corcovado Beach Lodge. The property was beautiful and quiet by the beach but close enough to walk to everything in the town of Puerto Jimenez including the pier where the local fishing tours and whale / dolphin tours leave from. The staff was very friendly and the rooms were clean. We woke up every morning to Scarlett Macaws in the trees outside of our bungalow and also saw Toucans, and an Otter right on the property. There is also a place very close to go see Crocodiles. We had a very nice experience and we would definitely recommend a stay at Corcovado Beach Lodge.

Basic accommodation in individual cabins in a beautiful setting on the beach. Toucans and other birds are regular visitors. Easy walk to restaurants in Puerto Jimenez. Owner is a really nice guy and can take you out on his boat to view dolphins and other marine wildlife. If you can’t live without TV don’t come here.

No hot water, nobody speaks English, our room wasn't ready. There is not a restaurant at this place. You get shocked when you touch the shower head. After 2 days of a 7 day stay we left and stayed someplace else.

Amazing place. The sand on the beach was the softest I have ever felt anywhere. There were scarlet macaws everywhere. The owner even drove us to the airport.

A CASH! Eeeek!!!
Upon arrival we were told we MUST pay in cash! This was toward end of trip, did not have $186 in cash. Gal at front no English, owner not there. Told to go bank and get it. We read all payment details NO where it says we would be paying in Cash, credit card use to hold, etc. Owner later showed, again told go to bank- would not take credit card. VERY stressful, banks closing soon, no car, etc. Later he said PayPal, okay- luckily we could do that late in day. However, he then said PP payment was short $10, so had to pay him that, We recommended Expedia/Hotels.com take this property off their listings, unless it is made very clear upon booking of this CASH only requirement! Okay place otherwise okay, clean, slightly overpriced. Beach in front, is not sand, mud swamp, had to walk to beach area.

Hello mr Kent. In regards to our cash on site event, you could have paid by credit card directly to Expedia when you did your booking but you choose to pay at the lodge directly. We are sorry that choose led to your disappointment. On the other hand our beach IS a sandy one. Thanks for you comments they help us improve. Nice Beach Spot
Nice spot right on the beach with great views of the bay. Basic but comfortable bungalow. Easy walk to town. Owner has kayaks that are available and fun to use.

The location was fantastic in that it was right on the water. They had kayaks that were free to use. The best feature was the air conditioning unit in the room.

The property and the garden are very beautiful and well-kept. You can see many great and colorful animals. Absolutely outstanding is the helpfulness of Tomas, the owner. He gave us perfect advice in an emergency and even drove to the hospital. Absolutely great!

Jätte fint ställe med egen strand. Cykel är gratis att låna och tar 5min till centrum. Restauranger finns bara några hundra meter bort. Ägaren är den mest hjälpsamma, vänliga person jag någonsin mött under alla mina semestrar.
