"We had a wonderful few days at pillar rock. A peaceful getaway for our 24th anniversary! The setting was perfect, the private beach and forest were fun to explore, and we even got to meet George! thank you!"

"I cannot believe the size of this room. My trip was weeks ago and I'm still in shock at how much room we had. The sea lions sung to us all night long, and we were not bothered in the slightest. We actually left the balcony door open all night. Breakfast was standard, and ok. Nothing spectacular. The bed, linens, and pillows were EXCELLENT. The balcony was HUGE. The TV sadly wasn't new enuf to stream any apps, etc. This was an extremely convenient location for the Columbia Crossing walk on the following day. We didn't even have to move our car since the shuttles pickup right next door. My ONLY complaint would be the size of the bathroom. It's QUITE small for the size of the room. The kind of space where you have to straddle the toilet, or step in to the shower to shut the door."

"This a great place to discover the little town of Cathlamet and the Columbia River. You also have close access to the little ferry that brings you over to the Oregon area which is great to use if you want to visit places like Astoria."
Dog Friendly Puget Island Home on the Columbia River. Secure Private Moorage!!

"This is a lovely place to stay with comfortable furniture, great kitchen supplies and dining. Puget Island is quiet and you can watch the fog roll in and out with the tide changes as the herons and ducks feed and hunt. We were able to put in our canoe next to the small shack beside the cabin, and the owners allow use of a shed space for cleaning from hunting and fishing. They were flexible about arrival time and very accommodating about a dog, providing sheets to cover the furniture and a dog bowl outside. They even left us flowers."

"Fantastic stay! Everything clean, quiet, and cozy. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom spacious, and the AC was terrific. The tiny house is a bit tucked away in the back of the building, so look for signs for "Cabane Noir." Brian responded immediately when we had a question about parking (available across the street, with an included parking pass). The outdoor sitting area was a little lived-in by Mother Nature, but the bedroom was perfect. We will absolutely stay here again!"
