This is a good mainstream all inclusive resort. Bahia Princpe Punta Cana is a resort with 5 hotels. Turquesa is the furthest from the beach which also made it the quietest. It was easy to get a sun lounger at the pool and no queue at the bar. There are little trains that run every few minutes that take you to the beach (about 1km away) so super easy. However there are a lot more people at the beach end of the resort. Impossible to get a sun lounger because they are all taken by 8am and towels run out quickly too. However, this was not a problem for us as we preferred the quiet end of the resort. We had two restaurant dinners included in our stay that needed to be reserved upon arrival and the food here was very good. Otherwise food was always readily available in the buffet restaurant. The food at the buffet was ok but not outstanding. The rooms were clean (big) and well serviced, the pool was great and the staff friendly and helpful. We needed a few relaxing days in the sun and it definitely delivered. If you are looking for a more upmarket experience, consider the Ambar or Fantasia hotels in the same resort.

The stay was extravagant; the à la cartes were great, the room was spacious, the excursions were executed very well, and the workers are very nice. If you cannot speak spanish, they accommodate for those who speak english as wel. The only downsides was the pressure of the water in the hotel rooms shower, and the buffet (similar items everyday). Regardless, the hotel itself is great, the beach is wonderful and getting around the resort is very simple with the shuttles they have that drive you to your destination (depends on the shuttle you get on)

Room key didn't work after check in & again before checknout, so eachtime I had to walk back to reception from the end of the property. Room lighting very poor, seating and extra blankets smelled bad, seating looked dirty. Broke my toe on a clear glass partition getting into the tub, bathroom has no vent, humid everything even floor is wet, slippery. I turned AC off day 1 because I dont like cold but HK turned it back on and I was freezing and theres no heat to warm up and it's cold at night. Other than the first day, never driven my room, had to walk even at night to get there even when I repeated the room # and staff said it back to me correctly, it's not where they took me (not far but shouldn't be that way, especially at night time & feet hurt. Gace soap in the dish in the bathroom looked old and had 2 small dirty spots (similar to how bird poop looks). Bathroom looks updated while the room is old and outdated. No screen on the balcony, if you want fresh air you will get bugs in your room. All-inclusive dining did not have options for vegans other than mixed vegetables, potatoes, rice and beans. I have celiac disease and a dish was labeled quinoi which is gluten free so I got some, bu the sign said it has wheat. Controdicting. Took closer look it was couscous not quinoi. No vegan or gluten dessert options. Never informed of nightly events. Tap to pay app doesn't work. Shower dispensers hard to put had under to get the product. No washclothes.

Upon arrival, we got into our room and it had a terrible odor like mold and musky with a paint smell. The shower had mold in it. We had no hot running water. We had to switch rooms. The staff was extremely unfriendly and very rude. We also booked a dinner with a show and they booked the wrong time and when we got there, there was no show. The food at the buffet was very average. We could only eat at the nice restaurants 2 nights out of the 5 we were here. The other Bahia resorts are cleaner and nicer, I dot NOT recommend this hotel.

The room was well worn, especially the bathroom. Room was as expected. Cleaning staff did a good job daily. Buffet restaurant at the Turquesa was much better than expected. Biggest disappointment was with the a-la-cart dining. We had 4 dinners during our stay and the food overall would rates well below average. Good temperature (not hot) and being overlooked were the biggest negatives on the food side but my biggest issue was the complete lack of regard for the posted guidelines for dress. Ratty shorts, flip flops, swim suits under a nearly non existence cover up were normal and the guideline called for slacks and closed shoes. One even required formal attire in the reservation combination but shorts and muscle shirts were allowed. Very disappointed! Staff at these restaurants were generally pleasant and attentive but the food at the buffet was at least as good. Pools and bar staff were very good. Hard to find a spot at the beach pool as reserved chairs were often reserved? The evening before! Although there are signs everywhere saying this isn’t allowed. I would return but with lower expectations!

Very outdated, starting with the 24 inch Tvs in the room. Multiple resorts share the same beach front, which is way crowded, and beach chairs that are occupied by a towel or a pair of flip flops with no actual people using them in sight. Same thing with the swimming pool. Very limited dining options, only allowed 1 reservation for 3 days, leaving you with nothing but the same buffet for the rest of every meal.

The state of the bathroom is just unacceptable. It was so gross I had to shower in my water shoes. The mattress was so hard, I’m so achy and will need to book a massage once I landed back home. The day before we left, there wasn’t any hot water & at this point I was just ready to go. Woke up today to get ready for the airport, still no hot water. There were other things but it doesn’t matter. I know I will never be staying at another Bahia. I know better & should have gone for a Hilton or Marriott property. And what decade are we in that I needed to physically go back to the counter to check out.

Difficult to get sugar free soda at bars and bar fridge. Staff was very friendly. Entertainment and water aerobics classes were excellent. Very kid friendly Specialty restaurants were excellent. Buffets were ok. Barely. Cold and repetitive. All else was very good.

This resort was clean, had friendly staff and we had an overall good experience. Only downside was, depending on which hotel you stayed at within the resort, you only had 1 buffet option to eat all for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Beds were supper uncomfortable and tv only speaks Spanish with 2 channels. Otherwise, good experience

Beautiful resort with great food, friendly staff and fun entertainment. The shops, casino and night club are within walking distance. They provide shuttles around the property and to and from the beach. You will love it here!
