We stayed at Ocean Blue & Sand from July 18 to 23 as a group of 15, across seven rooms. The resort grounds, pool, and beach were beautiful and well-maintained — the highlight of the stay. The rooms were clean and spacious, and the resort had a welcoming, community feel.
Unfortunately, the service was disappointing. Housekeeping was inconsistent — water, coffee, and other basics were often not restocked unless requested multiple times. The restaurant staff were inattentive, and we usually had to remind them to refill our water glasses.
The food overall was average. There were several dining options, but nothing stood out. The only real highlight was Mike’s Coffee Shop, which served excellent coffee and pastries — we wish it stayed open 24 hours.
The Privilege package created a divided experience, separating guests into different areas and services. For the cost of upgrading, you could stay at a more upscale resort.
Overall, Ocean Blue & Sand has excellent potential, thanks to its layout and amenities; however, poor service and a two-tier system detract from the experience.
