"Bodden Hus 27" Holiday Home – Accessible getaway with an east-facing terrace and private sauna

“Bodden Hus 27” combines convenient layouts within the house with a private outdoor area and soothing relaxation in its own sauna. This accessible half of the holiday home offers approximately 52 m² of space for up to three people. A separate bedroom, a bathroom, and the open-concept living area are all located on one level.

Dogs are allowed to stay upon prior registration. This makes the holiday home ideal for couples, small families, or solo travellers who want to spend their Rügen holiday in a peaceful setting—and, if desired, together with their four-legged friend.

Barrier-free and easily accessible

The “Bodden Hus 27” is one of the few barrier-free accommodation in the Klein Stresow holiday village. The single-level floor plan makes it easy to move around inside the house and provides convenient access to the living area.

However, “barrier-free” does not automatically mean completely accessible or fully wheelchair-accessible. Guests with special needs should therefore check before booking to ensure that the specific conditions meet their personal needs.

Breakfast on the East Terrace

Floor-to-ceiling windows lead directly from the living area to the east-facing terrace. Here you can start your day with fresh Baltic Sea air and the morning sun. Outdoor furniture is available for breakfast, a coffee break, or quiet moments outdoors.

The terrace opens onto a private garden. It expands the living space with a private outdoor area and offers additional room for adults, children, and dogs travelling with you.

Open-concept living and enjoying time together

The combined living, dining, and kitchen area forms the heart of the home. A sofa invites you to relax, while a flat-screen TV provides evening entertainment. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout your stay.

Carefully selected furniture, artwork, and lighting give the rooms a modern, Nordic-inspired atmosphere. The open layout and floor-to-ceiling windows make the living area feel bright and welcoming.

The dining table with four chairs offers plenty of space for shared meals or a game night.

Kitchen with dishwasher

The open kitchen is equipped with high-quality appliances and is directly integrated into the living area. A complete set of dishes is stored in the cabinets. The dishwasher makes everyday life on holiday easier and takes care of the dishes after meals.

This makes the house ideal for guests who want the flexibility to prepare their own breakfast and other meals.

Separate bedroom with a box-spring bed

The bedroom features a box-springdouble box-spring bed measuring 180 × 200 cm. A wardrobe provides storage space for clothing and luggage. In addition, the bedroom has its own flat-screen TV.

The bed is already made upon arrival. Towels are also provided. The holiday home is designed to accommodate up to three guests.

Private Finnish sauna in the bathroom

The bathroom is equipped with a shower and a toilet. It also features a private Finnish sauna. After a long walk along the Bodden, a bike ride, or a chilly day on the coast, you can retreat here and relax in soothing warmth.

The holiday home does not have its own washing machine or dryer. Coin-operated washing machines and dryers are available for shared use in the main house.

Visiting Rügen’s South Coast with Your Dog

Dogs are welcome at “Bodden Hus 27” upon prior registration. Around Klein Stresow, there are various opportunities for family walks through the unspoiled Bodden landscape.

Children are also welcome to join the trip. The private garden, the single-story layout, and the manageable size of the house create a pleasant environment for a small family.

About 600 metres to the natural beach

The natural beach is located about 600 metres from the holiday home and can be reached on foot. A handcart is available for transporting bags, towels, and other beach gear.

The Greifswald Bodden is also in the immediate vicinity. You can explore the surrounding area on foot or by bike. Kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding are also great options.

Reserved Parking Space and Charging Stations

A free, reserved parking space is available for “Bodden Hus 27.” The holiday village also features three shared charging stations for electric vehicles. There is a fee for using these stations, which is calculated based on the length of your stay. You must bring your own charging cable for your vehicle.

Access to the holiday village is via a natural, unpaved road. Please drive on this road at walking speed only.

If you’re arriving by train, a shuttle from the Putbus train station to Klein Stresow can be arranged for a small fee.

Café and farm shop at the holiday resort

At Café Klein Stresow, which has an attached farm shop, you can get fresh rolls for your holiday breakfast. They also offer hot and cold drinks, light meals, snacks, homemade cake, ice cream, and speciality coffees. A variety of regional products round out the selection.

The holiday village is also ideal for a peaceful stay over the New Year’s holiday. The resort celebrates a fireworks-free New Year’s Eve.
