“The bed was very comfy, the staff are top notch! Very clean and lovely. Just wish the rooms had a refrigerator.”

“The beds really weren’t that comfortable and the fire alarm started going off at 8am when a kid pulled the alarm and the staff couldn’t figure out how to get it shut off right according to The front desk. The shower head leaked bad causing horrible water pressure”

“We like old hotels and the Julian is elegant. . The staff was very helpful. We missed not having coffee offered in the lobby. We missed not having 2 chairs in the room but they brought another when we requested it. Temperature in the room was difficult to control. Overall stay was pleasant.”

“Clean room but very dated. Once we arrived found out there was no pool, breakfast or working elevator. There was also a sigh that no one would be allowed past 11pm for arrivals.”

“The front desk clerk was kind and tried to be helpful. The property and rooms were dirty and run down. We did not use the pool so unable to comment on that.”

“The hotel seems to be under construction and not up to snuff. There were strange smells immediately in the lobby. The pool was out of order and this was a big disappointment. The sheets were wrinkled as if someone had just used them or they had sat in a wrinkled pile. There was a rip in the curtains. The bathtub drain did not close to seal the tub so I could not take a bath. It was dirty all around the drain. The shower head had pink gunk on it. The lock on the door was broken. After……

“Staff was great. Very clean room. Parking was close to entrance. Didn’t get up & moving for breakfast. Went out venturing the area, which is beautiful. Highly recommend Super 8.”

“Room had damage to walls, loose floor tiles in the bathroom, water damage on the ceiling in the bathroom, and the thermostat did not control the temperature. For 250 a night I would expect the rooms to be taken care of.”
