Hi! Unfortunately we had difficult weather that effected our stay, which is just what happens, but if you're going to VBRO properties in this area, you need to make sure the HOA you work with properly treats the roads, plows, salts, etc. This was lacking and why we had to leave early. We lost the whole last 24 hours.This property was cozy and was ok. For the benefit of Portoro Homes (which was great service) and the property owners who allow use of their condo, we do want to pass along feedback to help this property:- Fireplace and living room were great- Kitchen condition was not great - pantry was a mess, door handles broken, old food everywhere. Dirty towel left on a chair.- There was a pill left on a bedside table in one of the bedrooms. We removed it, but we have kids so this wasn't ok.- The bathrooms are dated. Please, please throw out the old toilet bowl cleaners. They are disgusting. Toilet paper crusted on them, just gross. Also, grab some clean bath mats at Marshalls. If you keep the bathrooms not updated, you should make sure they are very clean and linens clean.- Slight mildew odor on both floors.- Overall, there was too much personal stuff in all the cabinets, under the sink, kitchen, etc. Wrapping paper rolls left near the fireplace. It seemed that people had just been in the condo and just left for the VBRO. For the price charged, with the Portoro Homes fee, this was not a good experience. All of this would give us pause the next time.
