"Roaches, cockroaches, infested the room we stayed in. The 1st issue was when we arrived we noticed a putrid smell. There was an air purifier in the kitchen area. We assumed the smell was because the island had a bad storm in the weeks prior to our visit and the island had flooded. We arrived late the 1st day and barely spent any time in the room. The next day during sunny hours we started to notice bugs in the kitchen but it wasn't until that night we realized they were roaches. The later it got the more they were infesting the room. That night I stayed up all night taking photos and videos. The next day I called the property owner and no answer so I called Expedia. Expedia made the calls for us and I was refunded all of our money except for the 1st night. No apologies from the property owner. Worst experience we ever had at a rental. "

"We decided to come down on a whim for the night just to get out to the beach and found this property on VRBO. The price was not bad for it being 4th of July weekend. The check in process was pretty simple. We were able to complete part of the check in paperwork online. Upon arrival to the office they validated and verified who I was gave us our parking and pool passes. The only issue we had with this part was the traffic getting to the office. When we arrived at the property it was clean and property was pretty much as described. It was a perfect size for our family of 3. The property had all the things we needed to make a quick dinner. The patio was nice to sit out at night but being a ground floor unit be prepared for the noise of the coming and goings of your fellow vacationers. The unit is closer to the pool and further away from the dumpster which was nice cause it was steamy out that day and I was very glad we didn’t have to catch the downwind from the trash. I liked the location beach access was pretty much a parking lot over and I enjoyed that there was a walkup bar, food truck and BATHROOMS off the walkway to the beach. Would definitely recommend to a couple or a smaller family. I would not mind booking here again for a future stay. "

"It's a nice, chill spot to stay at on the island. It's at least a mile away from most of the action, but if you have a car you can get around pretty quickly. The room was clean."
