A great house, in a fantastic location. Easy walk into town where you have everything you need. Also at the end of a cul-de-sac so it feels very quiet and safe. House itself was spotless and well equipped.

Great accommodation

Accommodation was great, we had everything we needed and lots of space, which was ideal for me and my colleagues. The garden was quite splendid.

Family celebration

We enjoyed our stayed. The views are beautiful. Plenty of room to spread ourselfs around. Very nice easy walk into town to restaurants and shops.

Very enjoyable stay!

This was great accommodation for our family group of 6 adults and one small person. The house was warm and comfortable despite the chilly temperatures outside. The living areas were spacious with great views of the lake and mountains. The location is quiet- away from the bustle but only a short 10 min walk through the Gardens to downtown.

Warbirds trip

So close to town. Everything was as advertised. The property worked so well for us that we will book it again next visit. Two problems were the very small TV and no heating in kitchen / dining area. However we had such a relaxing stay, thank you bookabach.

Excellent house, amazing views!

The property is excellent. Great layout, big windows to expansive views from all areas of the house. Very comfortable. We enjoyed BBq meals with the best views…Only feedback is that a Bluetooth stereo would have made it perfect. This was the only thing missing. The back Laundry door is tricky to lock.

Warm and spacious

Our stay at The Lakes Edge made our snow trip during Winter Pride so much easier. The house was quirky, warm and spacious with very large living areas and a good dining area. We hired a jacuzzi which went into the back yard with Spa Hire Queenstown and it was already set-up and hot by the time we got in on the first afternoon. Goodstays manage the property well and are very responsive. I recommend staying here!

Family of 6 adults. Ideal accomodation. Did have trouble with central heating first day but all good after that. Only criticism was TV was very small for what one would expect in a property of this standard.

BEAUTIFUL VIEWSxv

The property overlooks Lake Wakatipu and the views are awesome. It is about a twenty minute walk from the Queenstown town centre. The house was in good order. Clean and tidy. The only thing we found a little frustrating was removal of rubbish. We were eight people in the house for ten days and we ate home a lot so we had to be extra careful but we did manage in the end. Great place to stay!

Beautiful property. Great location. Lots of room for family to have their own space. Everything we needed. Need to remove the fireplace off the listing though as it is not currently useable due to not meeting council requirements. Home was lovely and warm enough without the fire though.

Good location and house

The house was so accommodating with 6 adults and 2 children, plenty of room, lovely view of lake etc. Easy walk into town. The house was clean and comfortable with everything we needed. Would stay there again with family.

WOW the Lakes Edge was everything and more than expected

We absolutely loved our stay at the lakes edge. Lovely and warm, great comfortable beds, plenty of room to relax and enjoy the million dollar views of the lake and snow capped mountains. Will definitely be back

Great location, in need of an upgrade.

Overall, we had a really lovely stay at this property. The location is amazing being so close to the water and ideally about a 10 minute walk into town. The house was great although could do with a bit of maintenance and an upgrade. Majority of the doors didn’t close properly and simple things like putting fly screens on the windows would be amazing to prevent bugs getting in but still being able to enjoy the fresh lake air. The check in process was simple and easy and communication was fast when required.

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was very lovely however during our stay we had a few issues we had to phone the manager about, he was extremely rude and unhelpful, I am unsure why this man works in tourism as when ever he answered the phone he was extremely unwilling to take our call and had no interest in helping us what's so ever. It was a really lovely house and we had a great time however wouldn't return here if I had to deal with gwen again. Thanks Madi
